Detailed Reviews
This is a really clean and well kept site. We were in field 3, with a mixture of tents and caravans. The pitches circle a park in the middle and the kids play there so it’s really easy to keep an eye on them. The wardens drive by a couple of times a day; they clean up and rake the sandpit. The toilets are cleaned 3 times a day too. Honestly it’s the cleanest site I’ve been too. The wardens are very friendly and helpful.
The site is in a good location to visit the local area and over the main road there is a lovely little farm shop which sells meat and eggs but also fresh milk which you bottle yourself!
There are a few walks from the site too which are fun and enjoyable. We saw lots of cow breeds, I think even a jersey cow and horses too.
Would definitely recommend ❣️

Booked a last minute camping trip for 2 adults 3 children (15,12,7) and our dog. We arrived half an hour early and were allowed in no problem. The warden was extremely helpful showing us to our pitch and the basics (toilets, drinking water ect). The shower blocks and toilets were kept immaculate. There are two play parks for the children and these are managed well by the wardens (9pm curfew which I think works great). There is a fishing lake and a large sports field. Ice cream van came round each field one evening (Saturday) which was a big hit.
BBQ and campfire are allowed if OFF the ground which is very fair.
We really liked the quietness but yet friendly family feel of this campsite and will be returning.
If you are looking for a festival raving campsite this is NOT the one.
Lots to do in the area to: Cheddar Gorge, Brean Sands beach (dog friendly) and Weston-Super-Mare.
Thanks for the wonderful stay and making out family time extra special.

The camp site was found via Camping & Caravan site, this was our first time in our new campervan and we were welcomed by friendly wardens who showed us to our pitch. The pitch was hard standing and we had a lovely view of Brent Knoll. The toilets & showers were immaculate and were cleaned 3 times a day. The dog walk was ideal for walking our dogs so they could do their business. It was very quiet and we didn’t get disturbed by much noise.
It’s ideally situated between Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare and is definitely a camp site we will be using again.

Good points - The campsite was absolutely immaculate, showers and toilets were cleaned 3 times a day. The children's park was in the center of the field, so you could keep an eye on the kids from the tent.
Bad points - the wardens make you feel really uncomfortable, the first night we were there our children were having so much fun playing in the park we let them stay out later than we normally would, granted maybe a bit too late, but we were on holiday. The warden came over to our tent, instead of saying look it's too late for your kids to be in the park, his whole manner was really aggressive, he said did we want to go home tonight or tomorrow. We apologised and said of course we will get the kids in straight away. The warden made the women of the family really uncomfortable and intimidating.
Then my husband went to the toilet this morning, not noticing that there was a lady cleaning at the time, a warden came in shouting at my husband saying why the hell are you in here, there is a lady cleaning in here, you should of seen the sign on the door for the times of cleaning, who looks at their watch every time you go to the toilet?
We was packing the tent away this morning, you have until 11am to leave, the wardens were parked up on the field at 10.50 watching you pack away. I felt intimidated.

We found this by chance while looking for somewhere for a couple of nights with the family.
We were greeted by the wardens who were very welcoming and informative. They showed us to our pitches and let us know where everything was. The site is lovely and flat and there is a lot of space. Tents/tourers are parked around the outside of very large fields, all with electric hook up, with a play park in the centre, ideal for letting the kids have a little independence whilst still being able to see them at all time.
We have a camper with an awing and we had forgotten our electric hook up. We asked the wardens who found one for us to borrow (deposit was needed obviously), this obviously made our lives much easier and was extremely helpful.
There is a small fishing lake which we were told was fully stocked. A couple of our family used it and caught a few.
We were originally told that we couldn't use an awning but noticed others had them up, when we asked the wardens they didn't know anything about not using one so we would definitely take it next time as we did have quite a bit of rain and feeding kids and adults would be easier.
The wardens did drive round several times in the day and were very helpful. We did have a bit of noise from others around but England had just won against Ukraine so it was understandable!
The showers and toilets were lovely and clean and the showers were hot, all included in your pitch price. There is washing up facilities and chemical waste points.
Our only down point was the A370 which runs along the side of the site and was noisy around bed time, however it would not stop us going back as for us this is very convenient for a quick getaway, perfect for small children (we live in Bristol so not far to go).
All in all, on a very wet weekend, we had a lovely time here and would definitely go back.

This is my 4th year holidaying in our motorhome and this is the worst site I have ever stayed in. The only good point is the showers were immaculate. We were told to take our wind sock down, the wardens are like prison wardens. The dog walk was literally a five minute walk. My niece, with her 4 children were trying to pack up in the rain, dead on 11 the warden was there with a clipboard, saying she would be charged a late fee if she didn't hurry up, I stayed an extra day and nobody went into their pitch! Some of our family came to visit for a couple of hours and were charged *
£3.00 each and £4.00 for the car. The wardens are constantly driving around the site checking the pitches. This site is all about seasonally pitches.
Wouldn't go back if they paid me! It should be called Dulhorn Prison Camp.

We were welcomed by friendly wardens and had a lovely pitch o the edge of a huge field with plenty of space around and a large area in the middle for kids too play and a play area too. The facilities were spotlessly clean and cleaned several times a day. There was a separate field for ball games and also a dog walking area too. Really lovely family feel and no noise after 10am. Great base to explore Somerset as only 15 mins from Weston supermare and half an hour from Wells and Cheddar Gorge.

Greeted by the friendly warden couple on arrival.
We were taken to our pitch and were very surprised by the amount of seasonal guests on site.
We were sited on mendip view. This was a very large field with big, electric hardstandings, all around the outer part of the field.Along with some grass pitches too. In the centre of the field is a very large play area for the children.
The facilities were immaculate and cleaned 3 x a day.The showers were free and not a push button,(Yay!!) So it was lovely to have a continuous flow of water.
The recycling /general waste area, was also very clean and tidy. There is a lovely fenced in dog exercise area, which was great.
There is only 1, washing machine and 1 drier on site.It will do quite a big load and is £4.00 for an eco wash and increases slightly in price, for a couple of other different wash settings. The drier is £1 for 20 mins.
There is plenty to do around the area, with some nice beaches, but dont expect to see the sea as the tide is always out!! 🤣 We would definitely recommend this site as a good base for exploring. Thanks guys for a lovely stay.👍

A lovely campsite in Somerset! This was our last stop on our way home to Devon after travelling England in our camper.
The toilets were immaculate! They were so clean it was like they never got used but obviously were as the site was very busy in August. 2 good parks that my kids liked and acres of room to kick a football around. There was a fishing pond too but it’s very small and shallow great fun on the whip but not for a carp setup.
The only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star review is lack of shop facilities. The shop was permanently closed because of Covid. I don’t understand this one personally as every other site we have been on had shops open with limited capacity (1 in 1 out) and insist on wearing a mask. Why they could not do this I don’t understand?
Had a great stay and would return...

Just checked out after an amazing 3 nights here. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly, kids play area great and safe, pitches large and well kept and toilet/shower blocks immaculate! Cleaned 4 times a day to a high standard. This is our 3rd visit and will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom71 contributions11 helpful votesHow far from Weston pier
You have to drive into Weston from there it’s near Weston/ brean about 20 mins
Toilet block is only in 1 field (the further away one). Play area in both.
It depends where you are. I suggest contacting the site to discuss your requirements.
there is not a swimming pool on this site, but brean splash not far, also, a local swimming indoor pool leisure center burnham.
