What a lovely place for great food. They do smaller portions for the small appetite with large portions for the very hungry. Requiring gluten free was not a problem. Great food, great service and great value.

The half moon is a lovely oldie worldie pub The food was cooked to order,so had to wait quite a while, When the food came it was beautifully presented and well cooked, well worth waiting for The staff were very friendly and there is a free car park at the rear

Found this pub for lunch, came off the motorway seeking something other than motorway services offerings. And what a find, the food was excellent, very reasonable and tasty and quick. Highly recommended.

This is an old style pub in a small village, just off the M5 motorway on the outskirts of Exeter. The food was nicely cooked and the portion sizes were very generous. My husband described his Lemon sole as "melt-in-the-mouth" and my "small meal" of BBQ ribs accompanied by coleslaw, salad, onion rings and chips was very tasty. The service...

An attractive, small pub/restaurant in a small out-of-the way village close to Exeter. The outside view is deceptively nondescript almost but the interior is old fashioned but very stylish, clean and old world comfortable.
