My room was pretty standard, but entirely comfortable, and quiet. Lovely staff. Very good value food, especially full English breakfast and fish and steak dishes amongst evening meals. Plenty of parking. Worth navigating to get to.

What a find! The Crown Lodge Hotel offers superb accommodation and food in a quiet part of Norfolk, well placed for tourists or bird watchers as it's only a short drive to Welney Wetland Reserve - a haven for birdlife. The hotel was recommended by a friend who lives locally and who we were visiting. They welcome dogs, which was... More

I have stayed in numerous 5* hotels around the world but the quality of the food and friendly staff at the Crown Lodge are right up there. This is the 2nd time that I have stayed there and the level of service has remained the same. Such a hidden gem.

Wonderful Afternoon Tea! Bite size sandwiches, scones, mini quiche, mini cakes and refreshing desert. Tea refill on request..great mix of sweet and savoury. Forgot to mention on booking that 2 of 3 were vegetarian but enough choice anyway.

Came here for Sunday lunch with friends as they really rate the place. That rating is well founded - an excellent lunch - well cooked and service was pretty quick as they were very busy - a good sign. Booking is essential and there is also a well stocked bar and an outside smoking area which is nicely secluded. It... More

First time for a couple of months that we have visited Crown Lodge. New menu of exceptional food, a very good pint of IPA and friendly attentive staff. This is the best restaurant in the Wisbech area.

I have just spent two nights in this hotel. I was received very well and I found all the staff helpful and pleasant. My room was good, very quiet. Breakfast was enormous. The hotel is well situated for visiting the Fens and the reception can organise trips on the waterways and to nearby places of interest. If you are energetic,... More

I work across the country and spend most nights in a hotel so don't often write a review however this place is great for people traveling on business. Great wifi, lovely rooms with comfy bed and the food is fantastic. Difficult to get a decent hotel in the area so I highly recommend staying here.

Thank Martin O
