The hotel is placed in roughly 4 connected historical buildings in the very center of the city. It has a very special genius loci, especially for the children. Both our rooms were clean and very well equipped. Mainly the service was absolutely perfect, everyone was very helpful at any situation.

Even the breakfests were rich and tasty, we’d only appreciate having it earlier (it begins at 8 AM), so we can start our trips early in the morning.

The price of the accommodation was excellent, too. To be honest, I was expecting much lower quality for the offered price when booking the rooms.

It was one of my best stays ever, may be 5 stars is not a good enough rating, so I rate the hotel with 5.5 stars this way at least.

A lovely, clean hotel with probably the best breakfast I've had in Czech Republic. We were given one of the biggest doubles to be made into a triple, all in wood and which is featured in their pamphlet.
However, it is on a top floor, up various sets of stairs; luckily there was a porter for my suitcase. There is no air conditioning & it has only 2 small windows overlooking restaurants, leaving us the choice to put up with the noise or the summer heat. Beautiful, but this room is probably not to be reserved in summer.

A nice hotel for one or two nights. Great location in the center of town. Very short walk to everything there is to see.
Charming two-story room, with bedroom upstairs, but oddly enough, I had two single beds. Several of my travel companions had single beds in their rooms too.
Odd, out of place African art in the hallways.
The attached bar/restaurant was staffed by an inattentive woman who declared the place was closed fifteen minutes before closing time. We only wanted drinks, so we gave our business to a place across the square.
Be warned - this hotel has NO ELEVATOR/LIFT, so if you have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for you.

Nice service - esp. Mr. Paul Lindner in the front office :o), great room, perfect food, all located in the real center of the city.
We spent with the family "soul wellness" weekend - full service, not need to take a care about anythink.
I can really reccomend!

Very helpful staff. Great location. It looks like the interior hasn't been renovated in a while, maybe to preserve an historcal look, so also the windows and doors aren't soundproof and it can get very noisy. The wi-fi doesn't reach some rooms

The hotel is beautiful and offers a great breakfast. However, we found it rather uncomfortable. First, there was some issue with our room that we didn't fully understand and turned out to be a hassle for us: they kept asking us if we could change rooms, and after we said we didn't want to, they still kept asking until we eventually moved; then we were given a special key to enter the hotel after hours. I still don't understand why we had to change rooms or use a special key. The whole process felt like a hassle that we didn't want to have during a vacation. Second, the rooms themselves were rather uncomfortable. The first room was in an attic and we had to be careful not to bump our heads against the slanted ceiling. The second room was a bit better but still kind of uncomfortable. Overall, the rooms don't have many amenities. No air conditioner either.

Very nice place with excelent stuff, especially waiter in coffee bar - very kind and nice man with professional approach even though he was on the shift alone. Room was clean and we had very nice stay. Thank you so much, we will be very happy to return here.

Overall not the best place to stay. Rooms very small and they don’t provide much shower gel. Breakfast is ok. Positive thing they are pet friendly and location is great. But staff are not very hospitable and helpful. Maybe because they work only 3 months in the year.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit spartan which is not surprising given the small town location. The hotel is directly on the main square which was a plus for us. The bed was the first king size cot we ever saw but the room itself was comfortable and the bathroom was in good condition. The breakfast was not good. I know this is not glowing but all in all I'm sure that it was better than some of the other places in town.

Hi, is there any free parking lot ?
Answer from tiredwalkerUK
Andover, United Kingdom82 contributions40 helpful votes
I seem to remember that the parking was free. You drive to the hotel in the main square (it feels like you are driving down a pedestrian street) and they give you a resident ticket for the windscreen and take your car away to park and return it when you want to leave. It worked for us.
