The Krumlov Tower is such a unique place to stay and at a reasonable price. The check-in process was very easy and the hosts are very accommodating. The breakfast we were provided was a very generous portion and the location cannot be beaten with the brewery right across the street, as well as a place to rent rafts during the summer on the other side. It is a quick walk to the castle and to the center of the city. We traveled by train so we arranged for a taxi to take us from the train station to the accommodation which was 100CZK one way, otherwise it is a 20 minute walk downhill on the way to the accommodation. It could be a bit noisy at night due to a bar within close proximity that was playing loud music but this ended by 11PM/midnight. We were in the room on the first floor so we did not have to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs but it is something to be mindful of if traveling with large luggage. The hosts provided a guidebook with very interesting information about the history of the tower, as well as recommendations for places to eat, drink, etc. in the city which was very appreciated.

We found this on air bnb and found it a little expensive but when we contacted the host he gave us a discount which made it reasonable. It is a perfect location across from the brewery and close to downtown. The other great thing is that parking is right out front. We didn't realize how great this was until we saw people lugging their suitcases over the cobblestone roads since very few cars are allowed in the old city. Also right across the street is a place to rent kayaks to take down the river - highly recommended. The place was great and we loved having an evening drink out on the patio and watching tthe world go by. Only negative was that it is noisy at night and very hot. The addition of a fan would cool the room down as well as dim the noise. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay!

We had a very magical night in the tower. The location is great and a fun walk to the center of town. Krumlov is a gem and so is the tower. We had the knight's room and felt very cozy and comfortable. easy parking. Easy entry. Great experience.

Yes, the Krumlov Tower is as cool as it looks in the pictures. The most unique accomdation we could imagine. The location in Cesky Krumlov can't be beaten and the access, parking and ease of check-in was terrific.

Hotel was incredible! It actually feels like you went back in time. It is on the entrance to the old part of Krumlov. You can get to great restaurants, shops, and squares by only a few minutes of walking. The whole Krumlov is lovely and well preserved which is even better cause you can walk around and than in just a couple of minutes get back to your hotel. Room was amazing! They have antique furniture decorated with the modern touch. It was big, clean and warm. The whole experience was incredible, and I highly recommend you to stay here if you want to feel like royal. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Krumlov :)

We have stayed akl over thw world and this may rank up as one of her favorites. We stayed in the Knights Room on the ground floorof the tower. It is a 3 story tower with only 3 rooms. A unique stay and well worth it. The interior is exceptional and the bathrooms is divine. The floos and furniture and too nice for an ordinary hotel room. There is no A/C but that is not a problem, the castle stays cool and sleeping with the windows open with the noise of the river running was perfect. There is no front desk but get keys from lock box was easy. A must stay in Cesky Krumlov.

We chose not to stay on the “peninsula” of Cesky Krumlov as we wanted easy in/out with our rental car. The tower is a 5 minute walk through the upper part of CK from the town center. We wanted something smaller and more personal, so given there are only three rooms to stay in, the owners were in contact with us both a few days prior to arrival and also on the day of arrival to get updates, which was great. The tower was renovated in 2016, so the rooms are modern in amenities and very cozy. We stayed into the Knights room, which is located at ground level, and was nice for not hauling cases up or down spiral stairs. The room was very well appointed with coffee maker, hair dryer and good size bathroom. There was live music across. Street on Sunday night, but besides that it was very quiet. It was very unique staying in the Tower, and if you don’t want to stay amongst the crowds off of the square in town, this is a great option!

We arrived at the Krumlov Tower to find that it was not a Hotel (I probably did not look at the description carefully and went on ratings alone) but it was a small very cool tower with a lot of history. Our kids LOVED it! The Rooms were very clean and nicely remodeled (well done). It was fun staying in an old tower. I would have loved if someone came in and made up the rooms each day with some fresh towels but it was fine for a couple of days. My only complaint was if we kept the windows open (which was very nice) it was a little noisy in the morning. If you want a fun experience stay here! I would highly recommend!

Several friends recommended this place for families. It’s not a hotel, you have to make arrangements to meet at a specific time for check-in, but it’s super cool to stay in a 500 year old tower. They also have a family room that sleeps up to five, which is awesome. And it’s walking distance to the town center and castle. Also there’s a parking lot right across the street with a special rate for guests. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is because there was a miserable invasion of ants in the ground floor room. Not much they could do about this at night when the ants came in, so I assume they’ve addressed it since we reported it as I found the owners to be very responsive. That said, you shouldn’t be killing 200+ ants on vacation...

Response from Ondřej G, Vlastník at Krumlov Tower
Responded 22 Apr 2018
Dear Joann, thank you for staying in our tower. I have to applogize for the ants. Like you say they came during the night. It never happened in the history of our accommodation before. We make super sure there is no any insect or bugs as we clean "every corner" daily (and we never have anything in the building). Just the morning after you told us we put ant traps all over the building, so now they won't even get inside. All the best Ondrej and family
