We stayed two nights in the Attic Room with Castle View. The photos are exactly what you get. The room is very comfortable with separate couch, small dining table, and a small area by the door we used to put on and take off our winter provisions. The bathroom includes a good sized bathtub. Internet was strong and relatively fast.

The desk window aboslutely points straight at the castle for a storybook view. The office is only staffed part time, so if you are the type that needs a lot of hand holding, you may want to look elsewhere; everyone else will be just fine here.

There is a pooular BBQ restaurant right outside the front door that I found to be just OK. For breakfast, I HIGHLY recommend the cafe Grill Baguette Rustika Vlašský - they make excellent waffles and breakfast items. I also recommend Papa's Living Restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Unless a few stairs is an issue for you, this is an excellent choice!

We loved it so much, we stayed another night!
Right from the start, communication with the owners was easy, pleasant & efficient.
We were offered a well equipped, spacious two bedroom apartment with fabulous views overlooking the castle.
Everything was very clean, beds were very comfortable and there was a large bath with an overhead shower. There was also an additional separate WC. Plenty of wardrobe space, personal safe, WiFi worked perfectly well.
Complimentary umbrellas are available at the entrance to the house.
If you travel by car, they also provide secure parking for a very reasonable price compared to some of the public pay carparks.
You can't beat this place for it's central location and excellent value for money.
I recommend.

We only had 1 night in Cesky Krumlov, unfortunately, but this was the perfect place to spend that one night/day. We stayed in Room 5 , which has a private balcony overlooking the castle with 2 chairs and a table, and is on the ground floor, with no stairs to go up or down. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, (we didnt ever look at the other one!) , a den, a bathroom, and another small room with another toilet. There was a sink and microwave in the den area, sofa, chairs, and the apartment was very spacious. You have to use the key after hours to enter the building since it is not staffed 24 hours, then use the key to enter your apartment, so coordinating the arrival time is important to get your keys. The balcony was the perfect setting for our take out pizza and bottle of wine. The apartment is very close to a drop off spot for shuttles, since car traffic is restricted during the day, so our walk was minimal from the drop off. The apartment is 30 second walk to the town square, and 2 seconds to the awesome Satlavske restaurant. We cant imagine a better place to stay.

Our family booked 1 night stay through Expedia at a two bedroom apartment at the Castle View Apartment. This turns out to be the worst hotel/apartment we have stayed for our European trip. The apartment is more likely a poorly managed AirBnb, rather than a hotel bookable through Expedia or Booking.com.
We booked the premium room of the Castle View Apartment, a 1st floor two-bedroom apartment. On the positive side, the room is spacious and clean.
However, the apartment is poorly managed with horrible customer service. This is the major reason that leads to the current rating. If you plan to use this hotel/apartment, please be aware of the follows:
1. The apartment doesn’t have any air conditioning (central air conditioning or room air conditioning), so it can be hot during summer month. This will be especially true if you book a room at the attic (listed as 2nd floor apartment).
2. The hotel provides a kettle in room, but it doesn’t provide any bottled water, drinks and/or snacks. The sheet is clean for the room, but don’t expect anything else.
3. There is a single receptionist at the apartment. That is the key problem. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist is not at his station. The Expedia site advertise that the hotel front desk opens from 8am – 6pm. But the reality is that the receptionist is only at his station a fraction of that time. During our interaction with the receptionist, we noticed that the receptionist wants to limit his commitment to man the front desk as much as possible. We did receive email from the Castle View Apartment saying that our room key and check-in instruction will be locked in the safe at the door. We retrieved the only available key at the apartment, but the receptionist then showed up, and told us that we had the wrong key, and had to move room.
4. The receptionist is very rude, unprofessional, and discriminator. We observed that he spoke English to other guests. But when communicating with us, he pretended to not to speak English at all, and communicating in Czech, which we didn’t understand. This creates huge confusion and delay, and almost caused us to miss the sunset photo at Cesky Krumlov. During payment, the receptionist also pretends to not understand our instruction, and select without our consent to pay in USD instead of CZK as credit card payment, which leads to an over charge in credit card transaction fee.
5. Please be aware that the parking of the hotel is a 10-15 min walk to the Hotel in cobbler stone. Also, the check out time of the hotel is strictly at 10am, way earlier than usual hotel check out time.
Overall, our family’s experience at the Castle View Apartment is equated to a poorly managed AirBnb, rather than hotels we have previously booked/stayed through Expedia or booking.com. Although our room is fine, the rude, unprofessional and absentee behavior of the receptionist contributed most to our experience.

Wonderful experience at the Castle View Apartments! We had probably the best unit in the complex, which is on the ground floor (no steps other than two steps up to the bathroom), nice living room, kitchenette area, bedroom and great balcony with outstanding view of the castle. Not all rooms have the view, but this is clearly stated on their website. Our unit was spotless, quiet and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the towels were good and fluffy. We learned that the property has a new owner since the pandemic and they have all new mattresses and furnishings. There is a grocery store around the corner which should supply all your needs. We were looking for breakfast however, so they recommended a great restaurant around the corner on the square, the Authentic Cafe, which is a lovely space and offers an excellent full breakfast cooked to order from a menu. While not inexpensive, it was high quality and we really enjoyed it. We were cold the first day we arrived as the town had not turned on the heat for fall yet, but with the urging of Daniel with the property, they got it turned on so we were then comfortable. Nice that they have a heated towel rack in the bathroom. They let me know that they offer a private transfer service in a luxury SUV from Prague and on to Vienna which we took advantage of. The cost was about the same as CK Shuttles. Daniel with the hotel provided the transfers. He is friendly and kind and we enjoyed getting to know him on the beautiful drives. He'll make stops along the way as needed. He took wonderful care of us on the drives and during our stay going above and beyond the call of duty. He is a gem! Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights in a Castle View apartment. We had reserved a two bedroom because there were two of us but when we arrived only one bed had duvets n it! The beds in the other bedroom had sheets - so we had the redistribute the duvets from the master bedroom.

We booked direct however I was quite nervous as I had written and asked questions before reserving which had not been replied to. Closer to our arrival we received some correspondence which was helpful. At this stage we asked about the availability of taxis at the train station. We were assured the there would be np problem however were given the details of a taxi provider.

This proved to be completely useless as there were no taxis and when I rang the number they kept hanging up on me saying "no English". Because of the restricted reception hours we couldn't contact out accommodation for help. Fortunately some other stranded travellers asked us for help as they had little English and no mobile plan. We called their accommodation who called the taxi company for us.

Fortunately we had arranged. transfer for our departure as, even though this was during reception hours; reception was closed. This would have been a huge problem if we had intended to store luggage for a few hours.

The time of the year that we stayed was cold so the lack of air-conditioning was not a problem however I would not recommend this apartment in summer; particularly as open windows edge onto a pathway where there can be a fair but of noise.

The kitchen facilities were good; the space great; the beds and couch comfortable.

Communication and customer service which don't cost anything would have increased my rating.

If you can get them to reply to your e mails - then reserve! If you can pre book a taxi from the station hen consider this place.

This hotel is clean, well-kept, but unfortunately it is across from a popular, noisy bar/restaurant. The apartments are literally just a few feet from the outdoor tables with patrons talking, laughing...until late at night!

The hotel website does not mentioned this, nor does it disclose here is NO view of the castle from the hotel. You have to walk to the town square and look up the road leading to the castle to see it.

Very nice and spacious apartments. On the ground floor room there is a balcony with great views of the castle. Everything was clean, and very well equipped. Enough towels etc. Also the pull-out couch bed was cozy. Check in and out worked without us even seeing anyone. Lying quietly in a side alley.

This hotel is centrally located and conveniently surrounded by restaurants. It was well cleaned and always clean and comfortable. We used it with three family members, including one child, and we have nothing to say. The lack of elevators may be a disadvantage.

We stayed in Cesky Krumlov for one night, en route from Prague to Vienna. The town was awesome, and the hotel was very centrally located for walking through the town. The parking was a bit of a hike, but was free and workable. The front desk attendant was the father of the owner, and despite occasional language barrier issues, was super nice, and great to deal with. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the town. Great restaurant right across the lane from the hotel as well.
