Best hotel in town for summer break: in the city, surrounded by green park, beautiful garden with swimming pool and tennis courts. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, wifi worked smoothly. Wide choice of TV channels. Breakfast delicious, large choice of hot dishes, replenished during whole morning, very friendly staff. Thank you again for your great hospitality!!
This hotel has great location - easy to find the hotel from highway junction (means no traffic jams around), just few minutes by bus from city centre, huge parking, which is free of charge, next to park for morning jogging. We spent four nights here, the staff was excellent, always helpful and very friendly. Rooms are georgeous, very spacious and have everything you need - comfy bed, strong Wifi, aircon etc. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, which was very rich, large choice of cold and hot dishes. Another extra plus for this hotel is garden pool, which is almost 20 metres long and there are many benches and loungers to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back soon again, thank you for your hospitality!
Located in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible from the motorway. Hotel consists of the main building and a second building (this one has unfortunately no elevator...) from where you need to go outside to access the main building (for the bar, restaurant, breakfast, etc.). Breakfast very good. WiFi working without problems. Enough parking space at the hotel. Hotel has good sports facilities, incl. tennis courts. It's frequently used by big groups travelling with coaches, you can wait for checking in, if you happen to arrive just after such a group. The rooms are very well looked after and were every time very well cleaned.
The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood surrounded by national park. There is a market around 10 minutes walking. The rooms are clean and wide. The staff are friendly I was there for a conference, they have a big hall and several meetings room. Good for business meetings and corporate activities. There is a tennis playground and swimming pool
Hi, my family and I visited your hotel on 11 Dec 2018 and we are part of a group from Singapore. We arrived on 11 Dec 2018 at approximately 7pm. Upon entering the hotel, our tour manager, approached the reception staff member, a gentleman wearing the name tag: Vojtech for our tour group’s room keys. Mr Vojtech commented to our tour leader to “ask your people to stand on the other side.” While our tour leader may not have taken offence to that remark, as a guest of your hotel, I find it appalling that guests of Park Hotel are referred to as ‘your people’ and the tone of Mr Vojtech. He was rude and demeaning. Moreover, he refused to render our tour manager any help when requested. I understand that Mr Vojtech may not be in the power to help our tour manager with his request, the way he replied was again, impolite: his words were: ‘ I cannot do everything for you! You must do it yourself!’ What was more appalling was when I approached the bar staff - a lady to purchase some bottled water with no gas. Upon hearing my need to purchase some water, she pointed to the left, without saying anything or giving any directions. Unsure of what she meant and where I should proceed, I asked again, ‘is it outside?’, she replied bluntly: ‘reception’. Naturally, I approached the reception where Mr Vojtech was situated. Before I could finish my request to purchase water, he pointed back at the bar when we told him that the lady at the bar had directed us to him. He then asked impatiently, ‘what do you want? Hot Water???”. We clarified that we wished to purchase spring water which he later advised the price and we purchased 5 bottles. We thought perhaps it was due to a difference in culture and language use so the reason for Mr Vjotech calling us ‘Your People!’, however, what happened later further cemented the fact that Mr Vjotech is downright rude and condescending and definitely not a customer service ambassador a Front Desk Manager should be. We did not appreciate Mr Vojtech’s mannerism and service. Having arrived in the beautiful country of the Czech Republic 2 days ago, we have been impressed by the great hospitality of the Czech people but that cannot be said of Mr Vojtech. Moreover, it is disappointing that such service is from not a junior member of your hotel but one of management level, especially one of a 4-star hotel. ParkHotel Plzen, is as quoted on her website as being “Your Second Home“ and to have a staff member at Managerial level not being able to keep up to the most basic level of service - being polite to guests, is disappointing. In fact, when our tour group of over 30 guests entered the hotel and found out that your hotel was playing host to the Roma Football Team, we were excited and even commented: This hotel must be good that even Roma is staying here! Sadly, Mr Vojtech’s service has been a letdown right from the onset. Such service should not be condoned given our otherwise enjoyable stay at your hotel. Thanks. Regards W Tan…
While the staff were friendly and helpful, the door to my room had a cracked and broken frame, which stuck repeatedly throughout my stay making it necessary to visit and revisit the front desk every time i wanted to enter which was very frustrating. My room had neither kettle or complimentary tea or coffee both of which are more or less standard in hotels with fewer stars.
Stayed here for one night as my husband was on business in the area. Very nice room in the annexe, only fault I could find was the bed was a bit firm for me. I had lunch on the terrace, a lovely view of the pool and the food was very hihg quality and delicious. We went for a walk in the park next door, very pleasant. In the evening we took a short stroll to a nearby restaurant for some typical Czech food. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, lots of choice and excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for 4 nights in August, our second stay here. For us, the Park Hotel provides an excellent value for money stay, compared to other locations in Western Europe. We stayed in the Annex building on this stay, there rooms are slightly smaller than in the main hotel, but it did mean we were well away from the noisy guests around the main entrance on one night. Provided the weather is good, the Annex is actually as convenient for the restaurant and pool area as the main hotel. No issues with the bedroom, the room was big enough to unpack during our stay, and the air conditioning was efficient. Breakfast was extensive, one of the best we see on our many trips around Europe, with a wide selection of both hot and cold food. We ate in the hotel restaurant on evening, although the choice was limited, the quality was very good. The pool area was reasonably quiet during our stay, one slight disappointment is that they have removed one of the big umbrellas from the poolside since our last stay, leaving only one. Fortunately for us we were able to use it each day we sat by the pool, however other guests then had the choice of the direct sun, or total shade. The only negative on the pool was that it was not cleaned as well as one would generally expect, we’ve never seen a normal broom used to clean the bottom of a pool before, not sure if a pool vacuum was used at all. However, the pool area was generally clean, with toilets and changing facilities close by.…
Plus - large free parking - Good breakfast - Good size room - waiter in the restaurant (boy) - swimming pool (small) - tenis court - Good location - can walk to the city Center Minus -Very unconfortable bed (very soft) - rather used equipment - tv for mostly Czech & German, No Polish sat tv - loud aircon but working - Very basic menu in the restaurant - not Very profesional front desk - waiter in the restaurant not speaking in English (girl) - noisy elevator - too expensive for standard
