Excellent place to stay in Prague, we enjoyed really much the residence. Qualified and helpful personnel, Thanks to Lucy, always ready to meet your needs. Residence with suites and mini suites, nice and wide rooms. They are 10 minutes walk from center and from castle, well served by public transport. Good restaurant, try their omelettes! Keep in mind it is...

We chose the Hunger Wall Residence based on other reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The apartment was exactly what we wanted. As perfect as it could be. We were even treated to a bottle of wine and a box of biscuits on New Years Eve by the owners. We would definitely return.

Had a fabulous stay at the Hunger Wall Residences this past Christmas. It is an amazing accommodation with a fabulous restaurant on the main floor of the building. The suite was spacious and beyond comfortable. Wish we had stayed longer! I would highly r commend a stay at this wonderful establishment.

Stayed for 2 nights in November. Had the superior suite which was immaculate. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Large bedroom with very comfy bed. Separate kitchen and living room. Honestly felt like a home rather than rented apartment. Cafe downstairs had amazing breakfasts and coffee. Easy stroll into the old town and lots if shops etc in the surrounding area....

to begin with, HW-Res. is very well situated: 3 minutes walking from the Moldau//Vltava but on the more peaceful "small side". The rooms and all the rest (elevator, stairs etc.) are very new and elegantly furnished. The rooms are equipped with a little kitchenette with microwave, induction based two-flame cooker and enough pots and cutlery to cook for yourselves if...

Stayed here with a group of friends. The area is known to us but we were so impressed with the helpful staff, the apartments, the food in the cafe downstairs (fabulous breakfasts) and the location that we feel we wouldn't stay anywhere else now for our regular visits to Prague. This side of the river is much more appealing for...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
