Location of the hostel is very good. Close to Florenc bus station and Namesti Republiky subway station. You can reach easily old town center by on foot. You can use internet via common computer. you can lock your luggage wardrobe in the common area then take it later. Cleanliness is average but for this price hostel is good I think.

We stayed in the hostel for 3D2N in July 2012. Because of the trouble in transportation, we arrived very late, with confirmation through email. But when we got there, the staff looked not kind by saying rudely that he just wanted to cancel our book, give it to other guests and let us sleep on the street. When said that...

we arrived to the reception and the guy was very kind, gave us a map and good indications about the city and money exchange. he said our reservation was last minute so they had another room for us in another building like 3 minutes from there. Another guy took us over there and gave us the keys for the room,...

We had booked this hostel because of it's early check in time stated on the website as we were arriving off a night train from Krakow in the early morning. When we arrived there was no answer at the door. We waited for an hour until eventually someone answered the phone. It then took another half an hour for someone...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
