Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awful experience. Filthy bedding, extremely rude hotel manager. Attitude to customers (not just me and my partner but witnessed it with other guests also) You live and learn but gutted we didn’t book elsewhere. Avoid here at all costs.

We stayed in two of the apartments, in a 2 bed and a studio, both were fab, we spent a few weeks in Prague they were lovely and comfortable. The apartments are nicely equipped and furnished, comfy bed is always at the top of our list and it was perfect, cleaning staff helpful and friendly too. The staff were always accommodating with anything we needed. It is situated in a very central location so perfect for sightseeing and the like. Will be recommending to friends such good value for money you couldn't pass it by

First I should point out that the apartment has no cooker, toaster (although we requested and got one) or grill. This is in the advertisement but I missed it, my fault of course! It was also smaller than I imagined but again this is no ones fault but mine. The location could not be better; right next to the British Embassy, 5 mins walk to Charles Bridge or Prague Castle in the other direction. On a hill with cobbles so not recommended if you’re fragile! We walked to the Old Town easily from here but the metro is a 10 min walk and very easy to access. Lots of bars and restaurants very close but the apartment was quiet (lockdown, but think it would be anyway as you’re off the main roads). Bed is lovely and comfy, reception staff very friendly and helpful and let us stay later to wait for taxi pickup.

As close to the Prague castle as it get. The place is new and spacious and was an amazing value for money. The staff was very forthcoming. I would definitely stay here again. The place is also rather quiet gievn that it is in the heart of Prague which we appreciated as this was a family travel.

Blue Oak is a wonderful residence right in the core of the most beautiful part of Prague- Mala Strana. It’s a fully equipped flat with kitchen including fridge, utensils, dish washer, sink, electric cooker, microwave, kettle. The flats and the whole residence are finished at the highest quality and standard. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It’s super easy to move around the city as tram stop is just behind the corner and trams take you to the underground and directly to many places, especially nr. 22 that goes to the castle on one side and to the National Theatre on the other. However, it’s also easy to walk everywhere from the Blue Oak residence. Enjoy your stay in Prague!

Very good location (next to the British Embassy) and a very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. Everything we needed in the light and cosy appartment. Close to everything you might want to visit or see. We visited everything on foot. Due to Corona the city is a joy to visit because it is not overcrowded nor too quiet. We had very good contact by mail and phone prior to our visit and we definitely will come back some other time to stay longer! PS very nice breakfast in the bar/restaurant in the hotel.

On the 3rd June Easy Jet announced that they had cancelled our scheduled flights from Edinburgh to Prague. We then immediately tried to cancel or change our reservation with this hotel, as it is NOT POSSIBLE to get to Prague. However, both the hotel and booking.com have informed us that the Blue Oak are still going to charge us £300 even though we have absolutely no way of being to get there today. The Blue Oak have also refused to allow us to amend the dates of our proposed stay. I have tried phoning the hotel directly dozens of times over the past two weeks but we never get anybody to pick up. We have e mailed them dozens of times but they ignore our e mails and refuse to reply to them. To charge my daughter (an 18 year old student) £300 in these circumstances for a stay that she isn’t able to have is frankly unscrupulous and immoral. This is not a cancellation by choice. This is a cancellation that was forced upon us by the airline cancelling all their flights from the U.K.! We gave 13 days notice and would have given more notice had we known sooner but it was only on the 3rd June that we found out! However, the hotel have decided not to waver on billing my daughter for three nights, despite their website currently stating that you only need to give 7 days notice (and we gave 13 days notice). We have and Booking.com have e mailed them dozens of times but they are steadfastly refusing to budge and are instead sticking by their cruel and unkind decision to charge a poor 18 year old student £300, when they are already missing out on a trip that they were so much looking forward to! What a disgrace! Avoid avoid avoid!

My friend and I stayed for two night in the duplex apartment. This is fabulous hotel and exceed are expectations in every way. The duplex apartment is worth every penny. What a fabulous room. The hotel is in the perfect location. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Prague.

Me & Girlfriend stayed at blue oak 2nd - 6th March everything about this place is perfect, we were picked up from the airport by their driver €27, when we arrived at the blue oak around 10am, we checked in with the helpful, friendly reception team, luckily our apartment was ready 4 hours early, bonus a deluxe studio. We noticed there was no iron & 1 was brought to our room straight away, the bed is soooooo comfy, and you will need it, if like us you plan to explore the city as we did, climbing millions of steps, up & down to the castle, twice, lookout towers, letna park ,& walked for 4 days all around Prague. The Castle steps are at the side of blue oak,bit of a climb but worth it.Charles bridge is a 5 minute walk away, On our departure we had booked the driver again to take us to the airport, a bit of a mix up regarding flight times at reception, but they immediatly booked us a taxi, if you are looking for a safe, clean, perfect stay in Prague this is the place to be thanks again blue oak we will be back
