Detailed Reviews
Firstly the hotel is well placed for Prague and most of the tourist sites, the Palladium shopping centre is just across the square and has over 200 shops and restaurants. There is a Metro station just outside and and tram stops in the square.
The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout, we opted for an Executive Room which comes with the use of the Executive Lounge where between certain times each day you can relax with a free drink and help yourself to some snacks and deserts.
Our room was 211 and was well appointed with luxury brands. The bed was huge and way too comfortable which made it really difficult to want to get up and explore the wonderful city. The bathroom was well equipped with large walk in shower, a separate bath and basin and toilet, the toiletries were from L’OCCITANE and the place was spotless with plenty of quality towels.
The rest of the room was a reasonable size and once again well appointed with AC, minibar, complimentary water, TV, wardrobe, writing desk and chairs. There was also a nespresso machine, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The room had electric blackout curtains and all lights were controlled by panels at the bed.
The room was very comfortable and whilst the view could have been better we heard no city noise whatsoever which helped us sleep really well.
The breakfast in the Adele restaurant was very good, staff very attentive and welcoming. There was plenty to chose from and everything looked fresh and well presented in buffet style. Plates were cleared quickly and drinks were served at the table without delay, very well run operation a credit to the team.
I had a massage which was good, the spa is very small and not worth paying to use and I was a bit surprised that this is not included in the cost of the massage so I didn’t bother, there is also a small gym down there to.
Overall this is a super hotel in a great location offering very high standards of service, you shouldn’t go wrong if you decide to stay here, we loved it and would loved to have stayed even longer.

We were greeted with kind hospitality on arrival. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. One of them was very helpful, accompanying us to our room and in explaining the electronic light systems in the room. The breakfast range was full of options - we don’t see many places that provide champagne for breakfast!
The hotel also provides L’occitane shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and body lotion. They top it up for you and have the bathroom sectioned off from the shower with air tight (?) seals so that you can do your make up while your partner showers :) The bed is super comfortable and the place is impeccably clean.
I must mention, dinner was not great here, however. The baked vegetables were so salty that it was spicy and the steak was really well done but for some reason, the “lemongrass sauce” was overpoweringly buttery... a wider range of options on the menu would also be appreciated.
BUT on a more positive and important note, the range of services here is amazing! There is a gym, spa service and pool. Unfortunately, we didn’t take our swim wear with us so we missed out on the jacuzzi / pool but the spa treatment was one of the best I’ve experienced (I’ve gone to many spas and massages and consider myself a fussy customer) There’s a complimentary discount as well! If you decide to get a spa treatment, I highly recommend Anna. She was absolutely lovely.
Overall, excellent location, considerate service, amazing range of offers... what more can you ask on your precious holiday!? If it weren’t for the disappointing evening menu, a clear 5 star hotel.

Excellent location, central to all local attractions. The onsite restaurant "Adele" is superb and very reasonably priced with a discount for residents. We sat outside in the heated area and there was a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is excellent with so much choice! Our room was clean and tidy and the shower was superb. We opted for the executive room and as part of this had the free entrance into the executive lounge with free food and drink from 12-6pm, we actually did not realise this when we booked so this was a nice surprise. All in all we were extremely happy with the hotel and location and we are already planning to return to prague later in the year, when we do we will definitely be returning to Hotel Kings Court!

We moved to The Kings Court Hotel after 6 nights in The Hilton Prague . The Hilton was adequate just ! The Kings Court was outstanding we choose to cancel our 5 nights in The Old Town Hilton in favour of The Kings Court . The reception staff worked out a great offer including a king Suite with executive room access which was actually open unlike The Hilton’s executive lounges are mostly Closed due to covid . We had reserved executive suites at The Hilton old town we saved £450.00 at The K C and we thought the hotel had a far more luxurious feel than The Hilton Old Town which when we visited to check it out there was no one at all in reception at all eventually a young lady appeared and told us the executive lounge was closed due to covid ! The Hilton are only cleaning rooms upon request which is less than ideal . Long queues to request a room clean !! By contrast the Kings Court’s rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day .
The reception were helpful and efficient and Daniel was exceptionally friendly & efficient .
The rooms were comfortable the beds were top notch.
The bath was big with jets .
The breakfast was a rich buffet with fresh orange juice .
The spa was relaxing with a small pool and jacuzzi & sauna .
Thanks for the excellent service Daniel and all the staff at The Kings Court !

This is going to be a long review.
We booked this hotel for 6 nights,
To celebrate our honeymoon and my wife's birthday.
We got to the room at 2.30 pm, after getting the room we found out that there was a problem with the lighting control, working only on one side of the room. The toilet door cannot be locked.
And we didn't get bathrobes.
If all this is not enough, after about an hour, water started to run on the carpet.
Upon announcing the hotel management they tried to send a technician to fix the problems with our room (also they said it will take a while so we should just leave the room, but after they realized they needed to break one of the pipes, they offered us a room pass (3 hours after we arrived and unpacked equipment needed to be packed again), we agreed to move to a new room, but the new room was half the original room We accepted, and we immediately announced that we would not move to a smaller room, tried to move us to another small room and once again we did not agree.
We went back to the original room, with the water all over the carpets and decided to put towels on the whole carpet, because everything was flooded with water.
After two days they found a room to suit us,
Reminds you that at this time we managed to move 3 rooms and packed 3 times already !!
Of course, even in the new room there were glitches, the air conditioner was not working and the door of the room was not locked, we had to close it 3 times for it to lock.
We were afraid we would have to go through another room and no longer report it.
3 days from our trip we went for a room transfer
We brought a cheese knife with us, the day after we were in the new room, the cleaner took the knife and the hotel couldn't find it anymore.
A good word comes to a representative named Sabina,
She bought us a new knife like the previous model we had,
And offered us dinner at the hotel restaurant.
But on the last day we asked to check out late from the hotel, and they said we couldn't do it after it was already previously discussed it . Of course, we wanted to pay more but they said no.
And that's even after we lost 4 days from our trip because of this hotel's malfunctions!
We took our stuff and moved to another hotel, just a shame of a hotel !!
This is not a 5 star hotel it should be a hostel !!
Do not approach this hotel

Dear Mr. Nahon, I appreciate your time taken to give us your honest feedback on your recent stay at our hotel. I am truly sorry not to meet your expectations. I wish you had a better impression of your recent experience. We sincerely apologies for the technical inconvenience you came across in the beginning. We usually pay a lot of attention to have all the rooms well equipped and functioning. Regarding the size of the rooms provided, let me kindly note that the hotel is situated in the historic building, and all the rooms are differently planned and furnished. However, we always try to satisfy our guests' preferences. I believe the satiation with the cheese knife was just a coincidence. I am sure, it could not be taken by some of my colleagues on purpose. Anyway, we have provided you with the same one, as yours was not found after the cleaning up service. Hopefully, those misunderstandings did not ruin your impression of Prague, and you will travel to the beautiful city once again in the future. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at guestrelations@hotelkingscourt.cz at any time. Thank you for your time! Best regards, Ekaterina Savina Guest Relations

We had just returned from our second visit to the great city Prague and we stayed obviously for the second time in this elegant, amazing hotel Kings Court that we stayed in two years ago, we were expecting that with the presence of COVId-19 their hospitality and service will be affected, but on the contrary we were shocked to feel and experience the 5 stars gorgeous accommodation, from the minute we enter the hotel, to the time you approach the reception, immediately you notice the COVId-19 mandatory regulations of the hotel and country.
We were escorted to our executive room, that was smelling lavender, it was super clean and very comfortable as our last visit, it has everything thing we need to have a comfortable stay, the bath room was shining and smell lavender too.
The executive lounge was set in case we need to have a drink or a snack.
Next day morning we went for breakfast at Adele restaurant, we were surprised to recieve two cups of hot water with Ginger lemon and honey, eventhough we didn't request as the waiter and the bartender remembered that we like to have before breakfast. In the afternoon we visited the the Spa, every section from the gym, sauna, pool, jacuzzi were very well taken care of. We decided to reserve a massage. The therapist was very professional and experienced.
That was in short our second visit to this amazing hotel, and frankly we left planning when we will visit for the third time.
PS, the location of the hotel is great you are in the middle of the old town where you have direct access to the underground, buses and tram, the hotel us opposite the nice mall Paladduim, around the hotel walking distance you can try several nice restaurants and bars.

So I rated the Kings Court Hotel based on the 5Star Hotel Standard and the fact that I am frequently visiting 5Star hotels.
The Standard is okay, in a mater if fact we decided to book this Hotel since it was rated as one of the best 5Star hotels in Pargue and on a central spot (we choose it over the Carlo IV which was prices similar, due to the more central location).
The rooms come in a good standard, but with rather a small room and shower only since we booked a premium instead of a standard room. One downgrade was that here was only one "tiny" window as you can see in picture attached. In addition the windows was not closing properly since the mechanism was damaged. After complaining it was closed but not properly fixed.
Downsize have been some dark sports on our blanket (pictures attached).
Breakfast:
The food variety, selection and quality are good. Not the best 5star standard but acceptable. The downgread was that the breakfast area was rather crowded so that you could bearly find a table and the breakfast area was crowded. A plus for me was the "real coffee machine" where coffee was produced in Barista style rather than with a coffee machine.
So the breakfast could have been a real plus but since the hotel seemed to be highly booked the breakfast place couldn't handle the guest load at several times.
So the over all price value was better since prices might have been lowered after covid 19 but other hotels do have some discount rather right now as well.
The crowded breakfast is probable not avoidable unless the sice would be increased. The window sice and therefore room standard must be mentioned as limited daylight and view.
Since we have more hotels to visit we think it was okay but you should know that if you book in this hotel there are some things to consider. If you are okay with this than this hotel might be a good option.

We visited Prague the weekend before Christmas and it was so magical. The hotel was outstanding, I booked an executive room with a city view and it did not disappoint.
Room and bathroom were immaculate, we had access to a Nespresso coffee machine as well as tea and water. L’Occitane products in the bathroom were replenished daily and added to the amazing walk in shower experience.
The staff in all areas of the hotel were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure everything was right.
We had breakfast sat outside under the terrace and it was lovely looking out onto the markets and Christmas tree. The choice of food was incredible. We also ate there on the first night and the quality of the food and service were second to none.
I also booked a massage in the spa- absolute heaven!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We would definitely return.

The whole experience was really nice! The hotel is located within 5-10 minutes from the touristic old town. The staff was kind and we were warmly welcomed. The room (junior suite) and bed were very comfortable and provided many amenities such as a wide choice of pillows, hair straightener, hair dryer, bathrobes, whirlpool bathtub, etc.. The breakfast at the hotel was rich and tasty. The hotel bar had live music at night which was a nice way to spend a night in. The spa facility was not too crowded so one would get some privacy' as much one can feel in a hotel spa. The massage was also adjusted to our preferences and it was really enjoyable.
On the other hand, the heating system was problematic. The temperatute was not kept constant, meaning at some points it would get too hot or too cold. Also, the bathroom radiator would not work at all (we were told it is just used for hanging towels, but what it's the point of hanging towels if you cannot dry them? This was also a problem for drying the swimsuit or the bathrobe after the spa..next day both were still wet). Although the staff was very kind, the issues were never solved, indicating a deeper managing issue at the hotel. Last but not least, our room was on top of the main entrance and we could hear the street noise at night, suggesting the soundproofing could be improved.
Overall, it was a very nice weekend getaway and we would gladly come back.

This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Prague. We had 2 executive rooms for 5 nights. The welcome at the hotel was good easy to check in. Room facilities are good. Nespresso machine for coffee. An amazing shower in our room and my son had a bath and a shower cubicle with a much better view than ours. Breakfast is amazing. We mostly sat outside on the heated terrace where you can watch the world go by. I cant think of anything that wasnt available to eat including pancakes, pizza, fish, cheese, egg ,sausage fresh bread croissants etc etc. If i had to say 1 thing it would be that the coffee wasnt great. If you asked for a cappucino or latte it was tasty but cool. Filter coffee was ok nothing special. We had access to the executive lounge and used daily for drinks and food. There was always canned lager and soft drinks and then vodka whiskey and gin or wines. To eat soup and bread always meat beef or chicken pieces fried rice a potato dish salads crisps cheeses ham etc really great. Staff were all friendly. The hotel was quiet considering in a busy area the windows kept out any noise. We didn't have to wait for the lifts they were always quickly available.Turn down service in the room was lovely. Beds were enormous and comfy. There was a pillow menu which we wish we had taken advantage of as the provided pillows were incredibly soft. We used the swimming pool and the current swimming was great. The pool is very small and sadly the jaccuzzi part isnt warm. That would have been nice at the end of a long day sight seeing. I am however picking faults now and overall the leisure facilities are lovely.
I would reccommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.
