Myself and a friend stayed in the 26 female dorm and really enjoyed it. The room is split up into sections of 4 beds so you still get that homely feel. The atmosphere upstairs was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We both really enjoyed our stay over 4 days, will definitely be heading back!

This hostel also doubles as a club on the weekends and is very loud for any rooms located right off the stairs. The facilities are very nice and the beds are comfortable. I liked the look and feel of the hostel and it was in an easy to get to location (the instructions tell you to look for exit E4...

Excellent hostel. Staff are very friendly, they printed our boarding passes, showed us where to go in the city and let us leave our bags in their locker room after we had checked out so that we could explore the city without bringing our bags around with us. Good bar with a DJ in the hostel where everyone parties until...

I have to admit, we were slightly concerned when we first arrived in the lobby of Mosaic House. We were welcomed by two LONG lines of young backpackers, loud music, and an obnoxious drunk man. After a not-so-charming hotel experience in Salzburg, we looked at each other and wondered if we made a mistake staying a hotel/hostel combo in Prague....

We had a lovely stay in mosaic house. Really cool modern hostel. Great atmosphere and a fab bar. There was a real hotel feel in this hostel. So some small issues we had were that there was no kitchen facilities and the air conditioning was not very effective. But we loved this hostel for our visit to Prague!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
