I think that this is the best location in Prague! It has everything, shops, restorans, tram stop... and all you need to see is close. Apartment is a deligtful, it has everything you need. The beds are comfortable, heating is good and always has a hot water. I do not have any complaint.

We arrived to be greeted by a very friendly colleague of the apartments who moved us in swiftly and offered great advice for us. The apartment was lovely at first (loft apartment C) and we were very happy with our choice. As the week went along we would be let down by little things that could easily be repaired if...

We spent 4 nights here at the end of our tour of the Czech Republic and to attend a wedding in Prague itself. The apartment was huge, and well equipped. It was on the top floor but there was a lift. The manager who met us on arrival was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us back to the...

This town was quite enchanting, as it removes you from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets, and markets on the other side of the city. The town has a plethora of restaurants, shops, cafes, and also very quaint cottages. The metro can get you there, or alternatively a brisk stroll from 'Old town, via "Charles Bridge."

Prague is an excellent vacation destination, combining incredible views and tasty food and drink with very affordable prices. In terms of beauty it is a bit like Paris, an historic city with much culture, but without the high cost. When you add good accommodations to the equation, you have a truly winning formula. The Lesser Town Square Apartment in which...

The apartment C is really a small attic space. Dull and not very well maintained, good location in Mala Strana, but really, Prague is a very walkable city.... When we arrived, the administrator gave us the keys (key for the outside gate, for the elevator and for the apartment!) while talking on the phone all the time. Very annoying. First...

This was our second visit to the Lesser Town Apartments and I left completely amazed at their luxury and comfort. This time we booked three apartments for our group. We had been travelling for a few days and were exhausted when we arrived but the hot showers and fresh clean towels helped us ease into our comfort. There was a...

We found the attention to detail really impressive and the apartment to be most comfortable. It is ideally located and suitable for visiting all of Prague. Zonica our contact was extremely helpful. Sometimes the lift was erratic. Michael and Julie.

A two bedroom apartment. Really nice, very clean. there is a great view of the palace from the windows. Not suitable for children or elderly travellers as there are steps to climb as it is in the attic. When you leave you leave the keys on the table, I left my phone behind, called the owner. They really went out...

Booked the attic apartment through the agency, Svoboda and Williams, no problems, very good communication. Would advise being picked up at the airport to save any hassle, we also booked for the return to the airport, so much easier. Lovely apartment with everything you would need for a long stay. Very close to the Charles bridge and city centre. Klaudia...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
