I stayed here for over a week and absolutely loved this place. The location is great; walking distance to many tourist destinations and yet a little less crowded of an area. The staff was friendly and professional. I really felt at home. Breakfast is included and is absolutely delicious. Next time I'm in Prague I will definitely stay here.

We didn't like this Hotel. The service was bad. The information said the parking is available and costs 10 €. When we came to reception and asked for the parking ticket, a lady said to us that they don't have anymore places left. That was strange, because our car was parked in a free spot just next to the hotel.... More

I spent two nights at Klarov Hotel and everything worked perfect. Its a beautiful recently refurbished hotel, near the city centre, by the Moldava river. I was at "Robbie Williams room", big, clean and quite. People at the recepcion desk were kind and efficient, especially the manager. Nice courtyard.

Comfy character hotel within walking distance to the Charles Bridge, the trolley/subway and the castle. We were on the 3rd floor backing onto a government building that was being reno'd so was very quiet. The lift was very small so one person and suitcase per trip! But the room and bathroom (L'Occitane toiletries) were very well appointed. Front desk was... More

Executive summary: The Klarov is 5 of 5! Here's why: 1. Perfect location - 50 m' off the Manesuv bridge, but on the west bank of the Vltava, so you are spared (saved?) from the Old City mess. Malostranska metro station is just across the street (green A line), and also many tram lines (including #18 to the castle). The... More

The rooms were very spacious with nice touches and amenities. Each room is dedicated to a musical artist with a brief description of their work painted on the living room wall. The hotel is at two stets from the old city of Prague and the Castle in an old but completely renovated building (probably, built during the Empire time). Rooms are more than spacious, employees are really nice, trying to offer everything they can in terms of services and information.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
