We totally have the best location ever!! Our hostel is located in a historic building from the 16th century with renaissance ceilings. It’s perfectly located walking distance from most of the greatest hot spots around Prague. We’re 150 meters from the Old Town Square. Damn right, it’s literally a stone’s throw away. We’re about 400m from Charles Bridge, and less than that from Wencelas square. The hostel is surrounded by some cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs and great shops. Unfortunatelly our hostel doesn´t have wheel chair access nor an elevator as we are not allowed to modify the historical structures. Hostel HOMEr is all about chillaxing all cool. Come and meet backpackers from around the world over a nice cup of tea or wine. We have a communal kitchen that is fully stocked with all the amenities you need to prepare your food.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Positive points: - Great location in the heart of old town. - Acceptable price for value. - Amazing architecture. Negative Points: - Everything makes noise here: Beds, floors ... - The staff was not responsible. I stayed in 4-beds room. When I arrived after midnight, young couple were enjoying and doing $E* in shared room. I asked the reception to warn them and solve the problem. He ignored me and said: "It is a private issue. If they smoked in the room, I would warn them. for this issue I can not do anything"!!!

Amazing location. Very dated building with old rooms and squeaky beds. Rooms get very hot at night and noisy on the streets. Up lots and lots of steps (80 for the third floor). Fine for a couple nights but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that. In the 16 bed mixed dorm there is a weird man in bed in the hallway opposite the bathroom who sleeps naked and smells so don’t book that room. Think he’s there all the time

The location is perfect, less than 3 mins walk to clock tower, town hall and open air market, 5 mins walk to Wencelas Square and maybe 10 to Charles Bridge. Also cheap & easy to find from Airport if you follow the instructions on Hostelworld website. On check in you receive FIVE keys, one for the courtyard, stair gate, floor, room and locker so it is very secure. You also get a red paper wristband to identify which hostel you are staying at and asked to wear this at all times. I did not like the wristband as I felt it attracted to the fact I was a tourist in the city and so did not wear it but carried it inside my bag instead. Bedrooms are nice enough. Beds not bunks which is always a positive in my eyes! Wifi was fast, lots of space around your area, clean, large bedside cabinet with lockable cupboard underneath big enough for a backpack. Each bed had two lights a big overhead and a desk lamp - only two plugs though so one light had to be unplugged to charge up mobile. At least half of the lights in the dorm didn't work. Bathroom was huge and one of my favourite things about this hostel! It was kept extremely clean and featured a toilet, two sinks, large mirror, bath and shower all in one lockable room. Incredible! I didn't use the kitchen facilities during my trip other than to fill up a water bottle but it was modern and quite large with ample seating area. The only thing that slightly let this hostel down were the reception staff. Not very forthcoming when asked about the area and maps. Plus no plans or recommendations for New Years Eve despite the hostel being city centre and situated between two bar/clubs.

Great location: 3-minutes walk from Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. Friendly staff, newly renovated kitchen and counters (very nice) on each floor. Clean bathrooms, giant pillow. Dorm bed (not bunk) is OK. Wall partition in dorm room does not meet ceiling, so you can hear guests entering other room (don't expect good sleep). Between two dorm rooms is an opening that is filled by "wood" (instead of solid wall) so you can hear people talk on other side.

The hostel is a beautiful building in a great location with friendly staff. I stayed there for Christmas. The beds were quite dirty though and I had to ask for a new mattress which they sorted our no problem. The rooms also get super warm at night and it's noisy even with earplugs in. However the communal areas have a comfy couch and are pretty good if you want to sleep there instead lol. The hostel is above an Italian restaurant, so during the day, the stairwell smells like fresh pizza!

+ve: Location - the perfect location one can stay in Prague. Exactly in the middle of the city, at the center of the Old Town and a minute away from the New Town. Just a few steps away from the metro that will take you to the airport. A lot of restaurants and shops in the area. There's always a good vibe in the area. -ve: Not to much light in our room. No Lift - not that bothered me, but better to list it.

I arrived late Sunday (nearly midnight) the girl on reception was lovely. I found all the staff I came in contact with friendly & helpful. The hostel itself is of good standard, cooking facilities (if you need them), it was very clean, lockers (bring a lock or I think they are 1/2 euros)WiFi fast, rooms spacious & clean, beds comfy and best of all you are in the heart of old town, minutes from everywhere. There wasn't many bathrooms but there didn't seem to be any issues when I stayed. Some stairs (gets the heart rate going 😂) No would recommend to a friend & would stay again. Thanks

Location, location, location! AND charm, nice private rooms (if you want), wonderful host (hostess!). Beautiful large room, overlooking a charming courtyard -- double bed, sofa, 2 big armoires for clothes. We stayed in a private double room, shared a bathroom and kitchen with table with another private room -- separated by hallways. Plenty of privacy, but if you wanted to chit chat, that was available too. Also laundry facility available in our "suite." Cannot say enough good things about this "hostel." Appeals to people of all ages. Great value!
