Modern hotel in quiet area, yet so near the old square. Impressed with such accommodating staff--bed was too soft for me, so immediately, they offered to remove the 3 inch foam pad--fixed! We were celebrating our anniversary and found a bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival. Breakfast is absolutely top notch--a fresh, varied, and inviting buffet. Comfortable room...

Hotel nicely located within walking distance of all monuments and eating places. The personel were very friendly, and gave us some excellent advice to better plan our visits. The room was large, very quiet, and the bed excellent. The "honesty" bar is an interesting concept deserving a visit.

Looking at the hotel on various websites this hotel looked great. However disappointed with the small rooms and also they booked me into a smoking room (didn't know these existed). The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. Over rated hotel and over priced!!!

I have never stayed in a small hotel that offered such a wide variety of amenities and personal service. I loved the fact that there was a library and a drawing room in place of a lobby. I loved my small room with its small refrigerator and huge robe and slippers. I loved the bathroom for its shelves to put...

Wonderful plush hotel in the heart of Old Town Prague (2-3 min walk from main square). Most everything is within 5-10 minutes walk. The beds and pillows were perfect; best we have found anywhere. The included breakfast is awesome. This place is a TOP value! Staff is super helpful and very friendly, plus they all speak fluent English.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

“Take the subway from the main train station to the nearest stop (1 stop on A line to C, get off on 2nd or 3rd stop - either works); short walk doable with backpack and a wheeled carry-on. If loaded down with larger suitcase, opt for the transfer through the hotel (call if you are unable to select when booking the room). The random taxi (short ride) from the train station is a rip off at 29 Euro ( $40 USD if you convert to CZK). We got burned on that when we arrived.”
