Pretty average hotel only saved from less by a decent breakfast . Rooms are adequate but considering the temperature outside, heating was conspicuous by its absence. Location is reasonable. Only a 5 minute walk to the old square and some impressive sights. The hotel bar had one choice of red wine which was Czech but was a poor Czech! The...

The reception staff were extremely helpful during our stay. They recommended restaurants, gave us directions, made bookings and generally made our stay very stress free. The rooms were small but very clean and the breakfasts had a great selection of hot and cold food. All the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel for a short...

Had a very pleasant stay here, you're around the corner from a couple of good bars and then 5 minutes walk literally to the old square. Rooms are basic but very clean, beds are comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast is an east European affair but did the job, I wouldn't say it was great but it served...

After studying the interweb my wife found this hotel. As we wanted a few days away at short notice we went to our travel agent who booked this plus flights at a very good price and 36hrs later we were here. The staff were friendly. The place was clean, the breakfast was more than adequate and the the hotel was...

Great central location. Very friendly staff. Gentleman on reception was exceptionally helpful. Answering questions and booking tours and a concert for us. Buffet Breakfast was served in a large airy bright dining room. Good choice of food and plenty of it. Sweet, savoury and some hot dishes. Bar was open to 10pm and prices looked very reasonable. Rooms we had...

This hotel is ideally situated to see all the famous sights of the City. The best way to see everything is on foot and this hotel is within walking distance of most of the attractions. It's quite basic, but clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast from cereals to hot and cold food so I'm sure it...

We stayed three nights in a three bed room. Breakfast was very good with selection of dishes. Room was spacious, everything was clean and comfortable. We had kettle and mugs, so just bought tea bags in the shop across the road for the evening brew. Our room looked towards the church so we got the bell sounds on regular intervals...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

“Rooms are not fancy but they are big, clean and comfortable. Ours had a safe, fridge, hairdryer and a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bath with shower which always had plenty of hot water. No complaints.”

“We stayed at front and we were awaken by the last of the pub tours but we had only been in bed 1hr so didn't bother us as we like to enjoy ourselves to but I think if air conditioning was installed so the double windows could be shut you would not hear anything as very quiet when these are closed. If it does as for a room to rear as these are over a quieter street/backs.”
