The position is excellent, just below Prague Castle, and near to Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. On arrival you are treated to a welcome drink before being shown to your room, a nice touch. We found the reception staff very helpful. Our room, a deluxe double, was comfortable and well equipped although the bathroom was really tiny. The noise...

We didn't book this hotel but were re-accommodated here by another hotel because they didn't have a room for us due to an accident. The bellhop service at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. Our luggage was unloaded from the taxi and taken to the room. Special thanks to Lukas, the bellhop. In addition to handling our...

My wife and a group of 21 friends stayed at this hotel Saturday, Sunday and Monday night Sept 13, 14 and 15, 2014. This is one of the nicest hotels in which I have ever stayed. The location is excellent, the staff is incredibly helpful and the rooms are up to date and for inner-city Europe spacious. They have a...

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Hoffmeister. The welcome drink was a great start, but then we were left in the garden area for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, which was quite lengthy when we wanted to get to our room. When asked they apologised for the delay and said they were busy, but it was...

Your introduction to this hotel is the offer of a free drink in the terrace after a busy day of traveling. What a great idea, but it is a ploy to give you a sales talk for myriad tour and boat trip packages. We declined all and asked to have a 4 hour private guide for the next morning. We...

Me an my wife chose the exclusive combination with roman bath and steam bath. Afterwards we both got relaxing massages for 30 mins. The whole experience was great and the staff was very friendly. The costs are low as well :) We stayed at a different hotell but went to Hoffmeister for the spa but the hotell seemed very cosy...

We stayed in this hotel in first week of July. It is very conveniently located at the bottom of the old stairs leading to the Castle. Every body at reception desk was very courteous and eager to help. Breakfast was hosted in a small but beautiful garden. We left our passports in the hotel safe and the hotel shipped them...

I stayed at the hotel for 12 days together with my partner and we had a great time. Nice big room with very good beds. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed having Mojitos and lemonpie in the garden in the afternoon. But it was the staff that made our stay perfect. Everyone was so helpfull from the manager whom...

My went and I stayed here for four nights on a sightseeing holiday to Prague. The hotel is quite small, but the service was very good at all times and the attendant at the information desk gave us detailed advice on what was worth seeing in the city and helped us with our reservations. The room was quite large and...

We spent four days (three nights) in this small, charming hotel situated beneath Prague castle: had a "Romantic Prague" package found and booked on the hotel website. Package included 2 nights with a special price for 3rd night in deluxe room, gourmet breakfast, private access to the spa (60 min), romantic Cruise "Prague Venice" (45 min), one 5-course degustation dinner...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
