Just had 4 fabulous nights in this lovely hotel! Staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. The room (304) was perfect - warm, clean and homely. It was perfectly cleaned every day with toiletries readily available too. The location is perfect - within seconds from the Charles Bridge - so central for everything that Prague offered. We didn't use...

A lovely hotel with great traditional decorative features and charm and only 100 yards from The Charles Bridge. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice. All staff were very polite and friendly and the hotel was clean with the a good sized room having massive comfy bed (little on the firm side), well stocked fridge, table and chairs, and a...

Wonderful hotel. Wonderful staff. Wonderful location. .... but too warm. We sweltered in bed every night. If you do go here choose a room on a side street as you can hear the drunken hoards every night and then the bin men first thing. Bit overall will definitely go back.

My partner is Czech, so we are often in Prague for a weekend and this has become our ‘new regular’ hotel. Location is amazing and nothing quite like walking back over Charles Bridge at the end of an evening to get back to your hotel. Rooms are spacious and individual, unlike a chain hotel. We used to stay in the...

Optimal location in Prague, only 2 mins away from Charle's Bridge. Rooms are very clean but they are absolutely not adequate to a 4 star hotel. However, they are nice. Breakfast is ok, nothing too fancy and the room definitely too dark.

The hotel is about 2 min walk from the Malostranske Namesti tram stop, and convenient for getting around. You can even walk to Prague Castle! At less than 1min walk from the Charles Bridge, it's perfect if you want to get a good shot of the bridge early morning before all the crowds come in. The room we stayed in...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
