Hotel Golden Star is located in a magnificent baroque building right underneath the Prague Castle. It offers an unforgettable view of Malá Strana (Lesser Side), the Prague Castle and the Old Town. Its staircase, which is 270 years old, and richly decorated ceilings contribute to the hotel’s antique atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with historical furniture and have free Internet access. Rooms look over Malá Strana (Lesser Side), the Royal Route, Prague Castle or the Old Town. You will reach the Charles Bridge and the Old Town by taking a short walk through the enchanting historical centre of Prague. You will be served a choice of typically Czech as well as international cuisine in a restaurant with an antique vaulted ceiling. Breakfast is served in the form of rich hot buffet. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the hotel. You can use free Internet spot in the lobby.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Everything’s is perfect here. The location is great, few steps to the Castle and within the quieter spot of the town. Although it’s an easy walk to Charles Bridges and the old town, so it’s the perfect spot if you like to be in a beautiful hotel without the big crowds. The

We've just spent 3x nights at the Golden Star. It was a great base for our trip. The room was really large, warm, clean and comfortable. We even had two bathrooms! The staff were very friendly and made our visit easy by arranging airport transfers. The location is really good

We took a 2-bedder apartment that was generously sized and simply but elegantly furnished. What a quaint charming building - easily 300 years old with original wooden staircase intact. Beds were firm and good and the toilet sparkling clean! Best of all were the views of Hradcany

We stayed here for three nights, in a deluxe room. They are virtually the same as the standard rooms, with the difference they have a great view over the old city, under the castle wall. The extra cost is worth it. Rooms are modern, clean, and a good standard, with good

Dear Madam, thank you for your enquiry! I cannot accurately comment on third party websites, however please let me explain the situation: All the Deluxe rooms have view of the city. Most Triple rooms are Deluxe rooms except for one. Please be so kind to double check if it´s actually not the Standard Triple without a view. So to answer your question: not all the Triple rooms have a view of the city. However again, unfortunately I cannot confirm what´s on third party websites. I hope that I was able to answer your question, please contact us again, should you have more! Wishing you a great day, E.Aljanabi, QC Manager.

Dear Lilmissy, thank you for your enquiry! And thanks to Nicole and Wowo, their answers are informative and correct. The Deluxe views are simply amazing! Plus you get a great Italian wine (Primitivo/Falanghina) and more luxury amenities (bathrobe, slippers, etc.). All the rooms have a similar high standard of design, luxury and utility, however the large rooms with the VIEWS are the best :) Wishing you a great day, E.Aljanabi, QC Manager.

It took about 20 - 25 minutes; partly because it was pretty crowded, especially of the Charles Bridge and also in the Old Town Square. Alternatively It is quite easy to use the Metro, once you have learnt how - we went to the State Opera House, at the far end of Wenceslas Square and got the metro back to the foot of the street where the Golden Star is.
