Nové Město (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

nice clean hotel with average size rooms. Being just off Wenchelas Square it is a good location and within walking distance of most of the main tourist attractions. It does have 2 police stations in close proximity so sirens are a normal sound day and night. A room facing

Rude staff and make you feel unwelcome the women especially the manager. Treats you with no respect! Rooms are clean and tidy GReat location right in the centre. It is along the road which has many strip clubs! So not suitable for kids!

We stayed in the K&K Fenix Hotel. We only booked one night, I didn’t realise there is so much to see in Prague, we could have done with two nights really! The hotel is a great base and has underground parking for 25 euros per night, it was really easy to park and reach. The

we flew in and took a cab. You can walk to the train station. About 5 blocks away from hotel.

Almost every place took credit cards. You'll need local currency for markets, etc... I exchanged money at home, and got more from an ATM at a big local bank. Rate was better than any exchangers (as they have extra fees). At the end of the day, don't sweat it...you're on vacation.

Loved it. Staff was very helpful, room was great, bed very comfortable. Great proximity to beautiful tourist district (easy walking distance), and lovely restaurants on a quiet street nearby. It is true, sex shop next door, but this did not interfere with my experience - travelling alone as a female ! - but I did make sure to be in my room before 10 pm.
