Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Make sure you make alternative parking arrangements as they don't tell you that the parking can cost you a much as an additional nights stay. The bedroom was dirty, linen had hair on it, black smudge marks on the pillow, and the curtains don't close. The lamp in the room has pieces of it missing, which were tucked behind the coffee machine. When raised with the reception, they apologized and did nothing about it!

Placed in an excellent location in Malá Strana, at walking distance of the Charles Bridge (Karluv Most / Podul Craol), the Castle (Hrad), and Old Town, with nearby bars, pubs, and restaurants, this boutique is the perfect choice for a city break in Prague. Cozy, personalized comfortable rooms, access 7/24, (really) excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel is possible, but problematic due to very limited parking spots, however, the staff can arrange nearby parking solutions for those arriving by car. Very good communication with the Hotel management prior to arrival - useful for some orientation issues. Tip: The top-floor room we booked offered a splendid view over the town and the Castle.

Amazing location just close to the Prahue Castle and very helpful staff, just the rooms were really very smll and there were no electric kettles in them (the kitchenette with the kettles etc. is available in the ground floor (lobby), but you simply must leave your room and go there - which we were finding enoying. Everything else was very fine including breakfasts.

We stayed here for a long weekend over Easter. After initial confusion where we thought it was shut (if anyone else has this issue you should just open the outer door!), we had a very friendly welcome and were able to leave our luggage until check in. The room was clean and modern, with two bottles of water and two coffee pods for the machine provided (you can buy more if needed). The breakfast was great, with a good variety of options. The hotel is well located, in easy reach of bus, tram and metro stations to get around the city. It would have been even better if there were a bar, or even a self-service coffee machine - although the reception area and dining area are welcoming, it feels like a bit of a wasted space outside of breakfast time.

The period of the glory of LH Vintage Design Sax Hotel obviously passed many years ago. Dirty and scratched walls, cracked tile, tattered flooring carpet, peeling paint, rusted window frames, torn off blinds is not what you expect booking superior room in a four star hotel. Further more the floor heating in a bathroom is out of order and there is no other heating. Guys at the reception desk are 'helpless' and not even willing to solve the problem by providing electric heater. I strongly do not advise booking. It's definitely not four star hotel.

We were greeted at reception with a huge smile and he was concerned due to our late arrival due to our delayed flight. Such a quirky hotel, amazing art work around the hotel. Our room was comfy and clean and the view from our window was beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful and kept us going until lunch, fruit, meats, pastries. The hotel was perfectly located for all amenities, trams and buses just round the corner. The river was 5 minutes walk away from hotel. We visited the zoo which was AMAZING. So many places to visit, we'd definitely stay again.

We spend 2 nights in the hotel. Had a family room which was clean and very spacious. Amazing view! Gentleman ( on day shift ) in the reception was very nice and very helpful. The breakfast was served from 8 am ( on websides from 7am ) which was a bit late for us secon day as we took train at 8 am. But it was not a problem to prepare a packed breakfast for us which was very good! Thank you! We had great stay, Prague is an amazing place. The reason I gave 4 points - we had lot of ants in our room which was not good with 2 small kids

Overall had a very lovely stay here. Staff were wonderful, and room was nice and cozy. Had a Deluxe Double Room, which was very nice size. Also, my request for a room with a bathtub was honored. Breakfast was included and loved the fresh fruits and bread. Decor was exactly as seen on website, so nothing surprising. A 10-minute walk (uphill) to Prague Castle, and a 10-minute walk (downhill) to Charles Bridge & Old Town. Would stay here again.
