Lady on the reception was very kind. She did everything to make our stay comfort. Sometimes in Europe such service really missing. Big room with a nice interior. It was fantastic weekend in Prague and i would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely clean spacious room, well stocked tea and coffee facilities replenished daily. Comfortable beds. Great location only 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge, shops and restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and very helpful when asking to organise trips out. Cosy breakfast area with a wide selection of hot and cold buffet food. We've stayed here twice...

A family-like hotel located on the west part of the city-center, in walking distance from both the castle and the old city. Our room/apartment was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast in a wonderful cave-style area.

Very nice hotel. Staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Situated within walking distance of everything. Unfortunately my daughter and partner couldn't travel due to being admitted to hospital. The hotel are assisting with her and the travel company we booked with to get a refund for her.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is an antique and luxorious old palace. The breakfast in the beautiful cellar was great, we got champagne every morning! The service by the staff was was good as we got a supersized room just because we asked for it, for the same price. The value for money is really good, i would actually say...

I found this small hotel very nice. Located in the heart of Mala Strana where the castle is; the rooms are spread in different buildings which are very old but rooms and bathrooms are refurbished. Nice Reception staff. Breakfast is more than enough, good variety and all fresh. Wifi worked well and it´s free of charge. Overall nice.

The hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions. We chose it because of this and because it is very reasonably priced. Our room was spacious and warm and we had a friendly welcome. The breakfast was ample and it was really nice to stay in a more traditional, small hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 5 day stay at the Wadstein last week. Hotel is very convenient for all the major tourist attractions, transport and restaurants and cafes. Very comfortable rooms, clean and modern bathroom and heating in room is easily controllable to any temperature. Slept well in very comfortable beds. Historic building has been expertly renovated and all facilities are excellent....

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
