The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the location was perfect and the breakfast was great. View from the room was just amazing. Ask for room 33 or 34 . There are stairs down to breakfast so not ideal if have a difficulty walking or a disability. Great bars and restaurants nearby.

The hotel location is great! The rooms are big and comfortable but you can hear noises from other rooms :) that can be a bit annoying... The brekfast is served in a very beautiful restaurant in front of the hotel... You should book the beer spa which is inside the hotel...

The best location - quiet, on it's own small square, within 1-2 blocks of the south side of Old Town Square, with a fairy-tale view of St. Tyn Church. It's not really near the Charles Bridge but it's within a 20 minute walk of that and the Jewish quarter. We think it'd be difficult to find this place if you're...

Positives: * Great location, just a couple minutes walk from the old town square. * Cellar restaurant and breakfast area were very atmospheric. Improvement areas. * Breakfast staff were rude. I was ignored several times including wishing members a Happy New Year on the morning of 1 Jan. The orange juice had ran out at breakfast and I had to...

Room in the part of the hotel detached from the reception and spa. Room was large but with a couple of roof beams in it going from the floor to the roof. Need to pay attention to your head when going to the bathroom. No bathroom amenities that is quite strange for a "self-defined" 4 stars Luxury. breakfast in a...

Beautiful Attic room in a beautiful location with view of Old Town Square and near Charles Bridge. Not much more expensive than anthing else in Prague. Room was in separate building without a lift to top 3rd floor, so would not be good for older or handicapped people. Included breakfast was in the cellar of another restaurant with only dangerous...

The hotel is in the historic district, so it is close to everything. The parking lot is extremely tight so be aware of the space. Our room was in a corner and we can hear everyone passing to their rooms.

This hotel is situated minutes from the main square in Prague and is therefore close to all the tourist areas. The room was clean and big, although there were wooden beams everywhere which sometimes got in the way. The biggest downside was the noise. Church bells, refuse lorries emptying bins early in the morning, the paper thin walls and a...

I have stayed in this hotel before and really enjoyed it. As before I booked a single room. The single rooms shown on websites, including the hotel's own one, are lovely, I was in one last year. However I was given room 822 this year and it was miserable. It was tiny with a single bed and had only one...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
