I stayed here in February and the hotel was lovely. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, the hotel is quiet too not a lot of noise internally or from the street. The breakfast is good and there is a decent selection, however there is limited seating so between 9.30-10 it can be pretty busy. The location is central about...

A warm and efficient welcome by Martin on our arrival. The Reception staff were very courteous and helpful at all times. Our room 202 was a good size, clean and serviced daily. It could be noisy at night from noise in the street, but we still managed to sleep well. Our only complaint was a lack of English speaking TV...

Lovely hotel with great service. I organised a taxi to pick me and my gf from the airport pre-arrival which was done by email. The email service was very prompt so that was a good start. Cost 680 CZK which seemed good price (£22 i believe so). Was put on the last room on the 5th floor. Had a lovely...

Best Western chain proves too be always a good choice. This hotel is located in a very good area, just beside the most famous brewery in Prague (U Fleku). You can walk from there to the shopping center (Palladium), old town and the shopping street (Na Prikope) with ease. The room is big, clean and nicely furnitured. There are heaters...

Firstly, the location was good, close to all main sites and outstanding restaurant around! Secondly, rooms were clean and nice. Reasonably priced. But now about the negative things. Breakfast is less than average, really poor choice and quality, went once and decided not to waste our time anymore. Our room was at the end of the hallway so wifi didn't even...

We arrived mid morning on Sunday and the hotel taxi service was waiting for us as expected. As we had arrived early our rooms were not ready but we were allowed to check in and just as we were organising leaving our suitcases we were told that 1 room was ready. Our rooms were on the 4th floor, our room...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
