I travelled to Prague the first weekend in December with my mum. We got picked up from the airport via our hotel - first class service. Arrived at hotel to be greeted by pleasant friendly staff who checked us in easily. Our room was beautifully decorated clean and big - only downside - a bit chilly but we got extra...

Bed comfy and not two doubles joined together. No plastic or MDF in sight ! : ) Service was excellent in hotel - it is truly classic in its decor throughout. Art Deco definately if...

Great Location within minutes walk of everything, bedroom was really well fitted out, the food was great in the restaurant and the staff where really helpful. We traveled in a party and it would have been nice if the bar had been open earlier and later.

We booked into this hotel for a long weekend in Prague. My wife loves Art Deco and the reviews for this hotel on trip advisor were all excellent, so we were looking forward to a stylish, comfortable 5-star experience from this hotel. We didn’t get it or anything like it, but let’s try to be balanced here. Good Point: •...

Just felt the need to say lovely Hotel, good food and EXCELLENT staff. The staff in particular were very welcoming, helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Hotel situated within walking distance of the main areas of interest. Breakfasts couldn't be faulted. I would book there again.

This is our second trip to this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and very central to everything. We came back for the Christmas markets. We just about managed to get a table on our first night for dinner, but this had already been reserved and we were told we only had an hour to eat! The second night (tonight),...

A lovely hotel right a very short walk from the old town & the Christmas markets Smells gorgeous when you enter, spiced apple smell wafts through the hotel which was beautifully decorated throughout with Christmas decorations . A warm welcome was afforded and although we were too early to checkin our bags were stored and we were welcomed to use...

Stayed here as part of a Jet2 'Indulgent' city break, the hotel was very lovely , the rooms were very nice and very clean and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, however some of the waiting staff at breakfast could do with cheering up a bit!!! The only disappointment was the restaurant, we booked in on our...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
