The first and foremost impression at the hotel is very rude and cold reception by the front. We initially thought we are racially discriminated, but it was nice to learn that the front may be like that to everyone who does not speak Czech. She ruined the friendship for the country. I hope that her character is not typical in Czech. Hotel is about 1-2 km away from the Old Town Square and took ~20 mins when we walked. Room was old. Shower booth was extremely small: you cannot stretch an arm inside and feel claustrophobia. Coffee/tea is provided only for the first day. For the rest, you are supposed to have at the lobby at an exorbitant price. At least, we were happy to have a hot pot in the room. Breakfast is 180 czk per person. We heard it is good, although we did not have chance. Albert is not too far, which was convenient. Only one rm key is provided in a keychain, which meant everyone had to move largely together. We regret having made reservation here based on others' reviews. Please beware when you consider.

For the price, I am so happy with my stay at Lunik, their rates are always very reasonable rates and super clean. The morning breakfast (7am-10am that was built into my stay) was wonderful, among the best I've had at any hotel, great fresh pastries, fresh fruits, and eggs and cooked dishes that change each day, so it's not the same things. Saved a lot of money there by starting the day with a solid meal. The location was a great launching point to anywhere in Prague, walking to old town or across the river is about 20min. Easy Uber to anywhere in about 10min, unlike staying in old town or other more busy places where Uber/taxi cannot pickup, cars easy get to Lunik. Loved walking the more quiet and safe neighborhood around Lunik after busy times elsewhere. For those with families, there's so many "American fast food all around" perhaps too many, but for families, those eateries and the many pastry shops and grocery stores (Tesco) nearby are helpful. The standing shower is very small, as is common in Europe. I'd recommend you bring your own soap and shampoo. There is not a laundry room, but laundry service can be provided for 200czk. Wifi is steady and usable but not fast, I ended using my cellphone hotspot when I needed to Zoom for work. There is a late hour money exchange place across the street on Jugoslavska 236 with the best rates, several banks nearby too. Just remember never to click conversion, since your own bank back home will always give a better rate, so keep things in Czech crowns. Airport taxi to Lunik around 800czk, Uber 600czk, though at times, hard to get a Uber from the airport, easy to get a Uber to return to the airport. I plan to always return to Hotel Lunik when visiting Prague/Praha.

We had a nice stay here BUT there are 2 things which are really not great and you should consider when booking. 1. There was not enough tables in the breakfast room so you have to queue outside and wait for a table if they are all taken. They actually sat a couple on the same table as us which I found really strange. They didn’t ask us but just sat them down. There are two ladies working at breakfast. The older one is grumpy and didn’t say goodbye when we said bye and thanks at the end. Bad customer service. 2. We had a kettle and some tea bags in our room. Only one was English tea. Others were flavoured. We hadn’t had tea in the room all week so we hadn’t had it replenished but my husband went downstairs on our last night and asked if we could have another English breakfast tea bag as there was not one and the receptionist said no and said we would have to buy it?!? Surely they should supply more than one for a room for a couple?! The hotel is on the outskirts but we walked everywhere and it was fine. Shame about those two things as otherwise it’s good enough for a little break.

disappointment!!! I have been to many hotels around the world but I have never seen a hotel like this. This is a very small room with a children's bed. The shower is 30 cm x 30 cm and the curtain sticks to your body in the middle of the shower. The water spills on the floor and the experience is really unpleasant! Do not approach the place 12/18/22

This hotel is well worth staying in if you want to be close to tram and metro links to the centre of Prague. We visited for the Christmas markets and there is one just up the road from the hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and they provided gluten free diet for me as I have Coeliac.

Great stay. I was solo travelling so the room is quite tight. However it had everything I needed. The washroom is clean but I would say the shower in my room is tight. I am not sure if it’s because it is a solo room. Just water spilt out of the curtain and could cause a mini flood. The soap/shampoo was 1. Dove soap. Dryer available in the washroom. The desk had a coffee/station with a kettle, which I appreciated. Breakfast was next level. There were nice spread of breads/pastries, yoghurt, hams, cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The ladies who were in charge of the room are so attentive. Will constantly pick up your plate and clean the station or refill. Most importantly I think the location is very good. Since it is December, there is a large market at the Church, and a smaller one block away. Also very close to the Museum.

Arrived home yesterday from this hotel and I have nothing but good things to say. Checked in late due to delayed flight and Lenka the receptionist waited for us to arrive . The room was lovely we had room 101, tea coffee and kettle which was much needed when we arrived. There was handwash and shower cream provided. Breakfast was really nice something for everyone lady in the dining room was lovely. Hotel positioned in a good spot plenty of shops and places to eat. Lovely bar at the top of the road if you turn left. Our transfer to the airport never arrived on time so Linda the receptionist called us an uber and waited outside with us until it arrived we can't thank her enough. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband...reception staff very friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant staff. The lunik hotel we found to be spotless. Great location. There is no air conditioning but there was a huge fan which was excellent and much needed as was very warm in room. Yes the shower is tiny...I had read in previous reviews...the shower curtain manages to wrap itself around you as you shower lol...but I'm still giving 5 star review as we loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend and if we lucky enough to visit prague again I would not hesitate to stay here 😊

We checked into the Lunik for 5 nights, no issues or problems checking in at reception. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, No frills room but had all we needed, 3* hotel don't expect the Hilton. Only a kettle and cups provided so take you own coffee/tea bags. The room was a good size, clean and tidy. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was okay although the shower was a bit on the small side, maybe time for a refit? Our room was serviced/cleaned everyday. There are safe's in the room but you need to get a key at reception and pay a small charge (50 CZK (£1.70 ish) per night). Some reviews we read before travelling said that you could hear trams going by but I must say we did not hear them, in fact it was very quiet at night. Although the averts for the hotel say there are English speaking channels on the TV, I could only find one, that was a French news channel broadcasting in English. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices and had everything we needed. There is a small selection of hot food but as in most European countries "continental" is the normal. The hotel is about a 25/30 minute walk from the old town. There is a tram or metro but to be honest the walk was better for sightseeing. The area round the hotel seemed very safe and has many restaurants and bars serving good food. There is a farmers market everyday just round the corner from the hotel if you want to get some fresh fruit for your 5 a day. All in all a good stay at the Hotel Lunik and If we return to Prague we would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. A kettle and cups were provided but no tea or coffee, which we thought a bit unusual. Breakfast was very good though, with excellent service. The reception staff were helpful also.
