It is a centrally located hotel with a very cozy room that had both shower and bath, impeccable cleaning, coffe/tea in the room, fantastic river view. Drawbacks: - not enough umbrellas to borrow during rain - cheap ikea cups and glasses for breakfast - breakfast is very modest... - room was cold when it was +4 outside - very short...

The President Hotel is a great hotel. Our room was elegant, modern and comfortable, for a great price. The location can't be beat-- right on the river, located in the historic Jewish quarter with many historic sites, a short walk to high-end shopping, to Christmas market (in December :)), to the famous Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. As to the...

Excellent service. Bar stayed open on our late arrival so that we could have a drink to celibrate a birthday. Food very good both at breakfast which was included and also in the evening. Spell out place names that you might want to visit as some pronunciation was different to what we expected.

The staff has no smile on their face. We borrowed umbrella and unfortunately due to strong wind, it was broken. And for that we have to pay 20 Euro for 1 umbrella and we are not mentioned that it will cost that much if broken. No information was given.

You can see dogs all around. Pets are allowed in the hotel , in the restaurant and during breakfast. The hotel staff are really rude. They are not helpful at all. A dog was running around in the lobby today.

Dear Guests, Thank you for taking your time to post your review about your stay in our hotel. We are sorry we were not able to exceed or at least be at par with your expectation. I do believe that your biggest dissatisfaction became from the fact, that as like all over the Europe, dogs staying with their owners are...

It's a nice hotel with simple but clean room. Being here during winter I must say we didn't have any problems with the heating. You have a coffee machine in the room. The hotel is located in a central nice area. The breakfast is good. Nothing bad to say about it.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Prague, we stayed in the comfort of the President Hotel. Ideally located to walk the beautiful, well maintained sights of Prague, and there are many. We had two rooms, both well equipped, very spacious, clean and comfortable. One with river views and the other city views (river could still be seen...

We have just had a wonderful weekend in beautiful and historic Prague . Our Hotel President was first class and being well travelled I can guarantee this. The staff, service, facilities and restaurant were all excellent and when champagne from the management arrived at our room, the pianist played for me and a candle came with my desert , I...

First I cannot understand how this hotel is rated 5 star--hardly a low three. The reception personnel were excellent and that was best part of hotel. There was no one to help with bags at curb, but once inside door he was there wanting to take to room. The hotel is being updated which is good, and I was in one...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
