Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel Petr was a fantastic stay. Tram is next door, neighborhood is nice. Room was very clean and had a little fridge and television. Breakfast had sausages, fruits, pastries, coffee, bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, and all you could need to start your day. I definitely recommend this place in Prague.

This is a gem of a hotel away from the tourist crowds but just a few minutes walk to trams connecting you to the metro, old town, castle district and much more. One could even walk to most tourist attractions in 20-30 minutes. The neighborhood is very quiet, mostly residential with a few good restaurant and cafe options. There was always someone on the desk and English was spoken. Transit tickets and passes were sold at the desk at the face value rate. The included breakfast is very good. There is a room safe for a small daily fee. There is AC but this is also for an extra fee. Luckily it was not particularly hot while we were there and we could open the windows. I would stay here again and would recommend it as an oasis away from the bustling touristic areas.

Initially this was the tour choice and I stayed on extra days. Great location away from tourist hoardes, with easy tram access. Stores and restaurants are local, not touristy, check out Andel mall just two tram stops away. Excellent breakfasts! Just what I expect to eat in central Europe. Note they do not provide an airport shuttle - conflicting info on various sites. Staff helpful. Beds comfy until you've been there longer. Would like to visit again for more concerts and museums and would stay here.

The hotel is located in a mostly residential area not for from the center of the Old Town. It's a few hundred meters from a tram line, I walked from the Old Town in 20 or so minutes (69 year old). Slight down sides were at times the elevator doors were VERY slow in closing and the breakfast selection was the same every day. Breakfast items were very good, however, I'd prefer some changes from day to day (i.e. type of eggs offered ... all were scrambled).

Great hotel with a smashing breakfast. Close to a tram stop that takes straight into the city. The rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels. Tea snd coffee with kettle which is handy because I’m a coffee addict. At the bottom of the road there is a massive shopping centre with a big Tesco’s and M&S amongst other major brand shops. On the top story there are several eateries. A little bit further is a Chinese restaurant about a 15 minute walk which provided a nice Chinese meal. Literally in the next street is an Indian restaurant however I didn’t use this. I have been to Prague several times and would certainly recommend this hotel. The reception staff were so helpful and you can purchase metro/ tram tickets from the reception as well. Thank you Hotel Petr I will be back, I appreciate your help.

It's not that easy to find a hotel that has reasonably-priced rooms suitable for a family of four. We gave the Hotel Petr a try and will certainly be keeping the address handy for future visits to Prague! The service was friendly and excellent - the breakfast was tasty and bountiful - a lovely way to start off the day. Air conditioning was a must during the summer of 2022 and it worked perfectly. The location is close to public transport and so provides easy access to both city centre and airport.

Great hotel With Beautiful and neat looking rooms. Modern stylee interior and very tall ceillings. The breakfast was nothing special but adequate enough. The reception disk was very helpful and the hotel offeret nearby parking garage. The hotel room itself had a few broken things like the bathroom door and the soap dispenser. Facemasks seemed to be required but highly unenforced as stuff did not wear them either

It's on the other side of the river from the historical center, but fairly close to old Town and just a few Tram stops away if you don't feel like walking. Castle district isn't very far at all. Large spaceous rooms with firm beds. I'd stay here again if I came back.

We were a family of three, and the room suited us well. The breakfast buffet was more than enough, and gave a nice variety of cheeses and drinks. The flask of water at the reception desk was appreciated in the heat! The only thing that I might say is that the mattress I slept on was begining to be lumpy. Overall however, the family and I reccomend this hotel heartily. My daughter especially liked the fact that she could sit in the cupboard!

A pleasant 3 star hotel ideally located in a quiet back street within walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and close enough to Prague centre. Good sized rooms with separate shower/w'c room.Facilities include a/c,tv,fridge,safe,tea/coffee making and free wi-fi. Basic continental style breakfast (same everyday)constantly replenished in the small dining area with a few tables outside in the courtyard. Lift access to all floors although a few steps have to be negotiated to get to the rooms. Friendly staff. Although the decor of dark wood panels makes the communal areas feel enclosed, this is a comfortable hotel and would recommend it.
