This hostel has an amazing location with extremely friendly staff. They give you a map and tell what's up in the city. From there, you're pretty much a short walking distance to the main attractions and the metro station is super close. The only thing is the some room are next to the street so if you're trying to get...

It was quite tough to find the best situated accommodation which is affordable and recommended by other guests. Finally I've found the Mango Hostel which is only 30 seconds away from the worlds famous Charles Bridge. The area around is very calm because there are almost no cars driving through the streets. We had a 6 bed dorm with private...

The location was really good near museum kafka and Charles bridge also old square. The room is really clean. And i was stayed more 10 people dorm room. But the space was separated so i felt 3 dorm room. 카를교랑 카프카박물관 올드스퀘어 근처에 위치한 아주깨끗한 호스텔이에요. 저는 10명이상? 도미토리에서 잤는데 공간이 분리된 곳이라 3인실에서 잔 기분이었어요!

Lovely hostel. Very clean, comfortable, safe and central, good value for money. Beds were very comfortable ( appreciated by 3 tired, over traveled girls who spent days sleeping on trains). Prague old town, train station and Charles bridge all in close proximity. Lots of shops and restraunts about.

Friendly staff with helpful tips. The Double-Room #32 was excellent. Very spacious with a big bathroom. VERY quiet - both from inside and from outside. 5 min to Subway A - 2 min to Charles bridge. The public-room / kitchen with "free groceries" is a window-less cellar-room. There are free corn-flakes - but no milk or anything else. But "Bohemian...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
