The house of the hotel was built in the 15th century. It consists of two adjoining buildings. The complete renovation to a small comfortable hotel was finished in May 2002 (the left building) and in April 2003 (the right building). The house is located in the historical centre of Prague in the street U Radnice, only 100 metres from the Old Town Square, opposite to the house where once lived the writer Franz Kafka.

Staré Město (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

This hotel is very old building since 15th century. It’s location is very good. You are in the heart of old town square. Everywhere is very close to you. If you are not looking for very comfortable stay, but if you want to be in the center, you can choose this hotel.

Perfect location right off the old square. Large rooms, clean, in a wonderful and very old building. Friendly staff. One caution - the rooms are up one or more flights of stairs and there is no elevator. Breakfast was included.

Lovely building. Spacious rooms and friendly easy going staff. Stairs are hard (stayed in the attic room) but what do you expect in an old 15th century building. Breakfast was basic but filled you up first thing. Great location to explore prague.

The stair leads to the bathroom downstairs.
A hairdryer was in bathroom for guest to use. There was a pot to heat water but we did not use it. The coffee and teas might cost extra. Please ask receptionist first. They are all very nice and helpful.
