Nice hotel with great location, most sites are within walking distance or you can catch the tram right outside! It is also at the bottom of Petrin hill with is a must see. The room was spacious and very clean. We booked bed and breakfast only so I can't comment of food however breakfast was good with many different choices....

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Two first nights in a simple room overviewing the court yard with a pile of construction debris. Than I went to remind them about my gold+ status and we were offered two much better rooms to pick from. We took the antique room which was very nice. Only the constant noise of...

We arrived late on Sunday evening to visit the Prague Christmas markets, I was fairly confident as to the location as I had visited Prague previously. Read some mixed reviews about the staff, but from a personal point of view I found them most helpful and friendly, the rest of my party would agree. The rooms were a good size...

Visited Prague for the Christmas Markets and stayed here for 3 nights. The location was ideal for exploring 10- 15 mins walk to Charles Bridge. There are numerous restaurants in the area as well. The hotel was clean, bedrooms were cleaned daily. The bar was reasonable. Its not the top end of 4 star but it makes up for it...

We visited Prague for our anniversary. It's a beautiful city, however the throngs of tourists can be exhausting. Hotel Roma was perfect in terms of location, since it's just out of the tourist strip whilst still being central for everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good. As with so many European hotels, a double room...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
