My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night break at Hotel Sunrise in Prague and our stay could not have been better. I can categorically say the interior of the hotel is exactly as the pictures show, the room we stayed in had a small walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with double shower, hallway, MASSIVE bedroom, 3...

Excellent value for money, especially at Christmas time. Loved the size of the room and bathroom. Rooms are very modern and exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful at reception, slight language barrier with other staff but still friendly enough. Buffet breakfast was quite decent. Hotel is close to public transport and within walking distance to all of Prague's...

The superior room was large, well equiped and quite, and the hotel is close to the main places in Prague. Please note that parking should be organised somehow or use a 4start hotel parking place not far from the Sunrise hotel for 25 Euro/night.

This hotel is in a good location, within walkable distance to all the local attractions and not far from the metro line. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was not good. It was often cold. We were quite happy with this hotel until it came to check out. The female receptionists were very helpful and pleasant however, the male member...

Lovely large room with digi-box TV, safe, walk in wardrobe and fridge. Big bathroom with walk in shower. Located in new town, about ten minutes wander from Wenceslas Square; a good location as the area isn't too touristy so you can get reasonably priced food etc nearby. Breakfast was buffet style. Adequate but nothing special. The coffee provided was pretty...

It's pretty much in the centre, a nice building with classic furniture. The room is really spacious. The bathroom, however, is very small, with a small shower. The breakfast is very honest. I actually loved to be in this hotel.

The hotel is excellent. The hotel pictures and the reality absolutely matches. Our room and bathroom were amazingly spacious. Everything is new and clean. Satellite TV. Good view from the window. Good sound proof: we practically didn’t hear our neighbors at all. Breakfast is rich and tasty with the big variety of food. Well, it is really good! The hotel...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
