Stayed here mainly for the location. Nice large room with a view. Staff was wonderful, friendly and super helpful. Helped me book a tour and the jazz cruise and always met me with a warm greeting. Breakfast was good. All around a great stay!

We stayed 6 nights at the Ventana Hotel Prague and were totally satisfied : room with high ceilings, breakfast, staff, quiet hotelbuiding in an old palace near the old town centre, excellent location so you can visit the city by walking. A recommended hotel without any hesitation. The hotel has also a private taxi-service for a reliable transfert to e.g....

Literally a few feet from the historic Tyn Church and only a few steps from the infamous Old Town Square with its many attractions. Amazing rooms -- loved the romantic bed with canopy, the spacious closets, the huge bathroom with robes and slippers and plenty of open area. Service and front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful -- including a...

The Hotel Ventana is perfect in every way. From the glass elevator to the gorgeous room with views of the Cathedral and the exquisite breakfast this is a perfect place to stay in Prague. You cannot beat the location - it is right next to the main square. We were slightly enamored of the 600 year old anatomical clock and...

We stayed here 4 nights. An excellent location and wonderful/helpful staff. We asked for the least expensive room and maybe they upgraded us, but we had a wonderful 2 level suite. Granted it's not the Ritz Carlton or a typical American hotel, I think the nicest hotel we've been in in Europe. I wanna go back, this is where we'll...

We have spent 3 nights, 4 days here in Prague and have found the Ventana to be perfect for our needs. Lovely, spacious room; brilliant location; excellent breakfast and very nice staff. There is a lift to all floors and the breakfast room opens early and finishes late. We couldn't fault it.

The Ventana Hotel proved to be the ideal hub for our four days of exploring Prague. We had previously stayed in Lesser Town and on this visit we were looking for a boutique hotel centrally located in Old Town that offered an inclusive breakfast and rooms spacious enough to spread out in. The Ventana hit all those requirements and then...

This hotel is 100 metres from Wenceslas Square slap bang in the centre of the old town. My wife and I spent 4 nights here with American cousins. We found the hotel had all amenities, was comfortable and cosy and the breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The internet is fast and...

This is truly a gem of a hotel. It's a small boutique hotel nestled in the heart of old city Prague within walking distance of everything you want to see. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. And the included breakfast each morning is not to be missed - we couldn't believe there wasn't an...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
