We went to Prague to experience the Christmas Markets. Please note there are 2 hotels as we was meant to book the other some how we went up here. The hotel it's self is a good base, reception very helpful and friendly. The rooms are okay, the shower was lovely. The breakfast was a wide choice of continental, unlimited juice...

I stayed at the Antik City hotel for 4 nights on June 2016. The hotel has a charming and elegant look and is located in a quiet street which is just about 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and 5 minutes from Old Town Square. Around the hotel you can find some grocery stores, bars and restaurants and at city...

The hotel was average. Very basic, but also not very expensive. Double bed was two singles pushed together with separate quilts and rock hard pillows. Shower was a mixer tap with attachment - inconvenient!

I have stayed at the Antik City Hotel this winter, together with my girlfriend. The hotel is very nice, close to the center and easy to reach (the metro station is 5minutes walking) Also breakfast offers a wide choice Recommended

This is most definately only a three star hotel, despite 4-star pretensions. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Like many old city properties in Europe there were not enough powerpoints, unacceptable bathroom ammenities and bathing products, and the property needed some serious maintenance. However, the staff were fabulous without excdeption, the breakfast options very good and the hotel was...

... But we are limited to choose between 3 and 4 ; and I've put 4/5 to better than the Antik Hotel. Now to be fair, let's review the I Like I Wish. I like: location, overall design (traditional), and the fact that we got a baby bed without problem. Thanks for that! I wish: a more complete breakfast (with...

After reading mostly positive reviews I booked a three nights stay at this hotel - I was put on first floor room 100 - the only room on that floor - on 1st and 2nd night of my stay there were drunk people shouting and making a lot of noises from 2 am to 5 am - when I complained...

Location is a bit far from the main area; this affected us quite a bit since it rained the whole three days that we were in Prague. I don't know about the other rooms but the room we stayed at was quite small and the two single beds pushed together took up the entire room. The bathroom was the tiniest...

The hotel is in a quite location within walking distance to the center, about 15 min. It is an ok small hotel. The service is good. Beds are very hard. Rooms with old wall-to-wall carpets and in som need of updateing. As everywhere in Prauge it smells of smoke. Breakfastbuffe is not great. An ok hotel but not a 4-star...

They say people make organizations grow and i definitely was witness to this. I arrived at the hotel on 27th Feb at 6:00am. The person at the reception at that time was one of the most kind-hear ted guys i have ever met. Though their website says check in is allowed from 10:00am onward, the guy at the reception empathized...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“We were in Rm 101, just near the lift. Noisy and concern about street access throught he window (esp. as this is in the redlight/gambling district & we'd seen a coroner's car bagging a body on our 20 minute walk from the bus station. Room is MINISCULE ... 'Circus Circus' or Etap rooms were as big or bigger!?! Pictures in their brochures indicate glamorous 'digs', ours obviously hadn't seen any such 'upgrading'.”
