I stayed here for only one night but I would definitely recommend it. Everything seemed clean, bed was comfortable and the location was perfect - it's very close to train station and just around a corner is Vaclavske namesti. There were three things although that could be improved: - there's no door between kitchen and bedroom - no shelf in...

It was an OK hostel for spending couple days, I would not stay here longer than 2 nights. It is a cheap hostel so you get just what you pay for. There was one bathroom (without a sink) for a lot of people! and the same with the showers (where the sinks are). The breakfast was decent for 4 Euros...

Stayed in a 5-bed female room. Only 10 mins walking distance from the busiest old town area. Clean room with comfy bed! Can be a bit noisy at night and early morning when people are walking by. Would recommend to anyone looking for an economic stay in Prague!

A good one night stay in 5 bed room. Basic but very clean, especially the bathrooms. Self-checkout in the morning made my life easier and the location was perfect for catching an early morning train from Hlavni Nadrazi but also to explore the center of Prague. The living room can get a bit loud at night and the room was...

Kinda weird hostel. They change the password to the frontdoor every day, the reception was really small and the light was out in the bathroom and according to our roommates they told the staff about it several times but when we left it was still broken. The guy in the reception was kinda weird as well. Comfy beds though and...

It's super close to the train station, so you can literally just walk with all your huge bags. It's an old building (duh, we're in Europe) and its got a lift to take you to your room so don't worry about climbing a billion stairs. All of the beds are singles so no having to worry about waking up the...

Last summer we stayed in this hostel with 4 girls. Since the hostel was very cheap we didn't expect much of it. When we arrived it was much more than we expected. The rooms were very clean. Clean sheets and towels were available. We had to share a kitchen, bathroom and a toilet with about 12 people (spread over 3...

A good place to stay with friend's, I would totally recommend it. Attache bathroom & toilet just adds smile, as most of the hostels don't have attached bathroom. Rooms are decent and clean. Location is perfect if you want to explore Prague. Gentle and very helpful staff.

Overall neat place, close to the city Centre - old town area of prague. Cleaner than the average Youth Hostel and good kitchen facilities etc. They also have lots of tie ups with clubs etc for discounts which are useful for student travellers.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
