Last summer we stayed in this hostel with 4 girls. Since the hostel was very cheap we didn't expect much of it. When we arrived it was much more than we expected. The rooms were very clean. Clean sheets and towels were available. We had to share a kitchen, bathroom and a toilet with about 12 people (spread over 3...

A good place to stay with friend's, I would totally recommend it. Attache bathroom & toilet just adds smile, as most of the hostels don't have attached bathroom. Rooms are decent and clean. Location is perfect if you want to explore Prague. Gentle and very helpful staff.

Overall neat place, close to the city Centre - old town area of prague. Cleaner than the average Youth Hostel and good kitchen facilities etc. They also have lots of tie ups with clubs etc for discounts which are useful for student travellers.

pros: Perfect location, spacious room, single beds, well equipped kitchen; cons: there was no door between sleeping room and kitchen with common room for 8-bed room and hair-dryer only for cash deposit;

Stayed here for 2 nights as a lone female traveller and felt really safe and homey. The hostel is small but has a great communal area to get to meet other travellers, each apartment has a well fitted kitchen with a fridge which was really handy and the bathroom was kept to a high standard also. The location is great,...

To all my followers, as you know, when we travel we incur in several problems, train delay, bus delay, flight delayed or cancelled. My flight to Prague was delayed and I arrived in Prague at 4.00am. This hostel is zero tolerance. I contacted the hostel the same day of my reservation (1 night), saying that my flight was delayed. Asking...

Only spent one night, after a late arrival, in a 8-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. But it was perhaps the best hostel I've stayed at. Whilst a little tricky to find at night, staff were excellent on check in and out. Was given a padlock to borrow for my locker and three keys (front door, security door & room door) which...

Nice place, right in the center, 3 stops to Florence Bus Station. Rooms are good, beds are clean and cozy. Too many keys and passwords...Wi-Fi is good. There was no coffee and sugar in the kitchen. The shower didn't work well. 10 euros - fair price.

THe hostel was amazing, I think, for groups looking to have fun in Prague, since it had a lot of common space where you could eat, chill, play board games and such. And it's also extremely central. But I had a bad experience sleeping there, because the beds were squeaky and in addition to hearing other beds squeak, the girl...

This is our fourth stop on our inter rail tour and I can honestly say we were shocked when we arrived. We were able to find the hostel easily by instructions given on the confirmation email, just a few minutes walk from the station. We were impressed with the level of security to get into the building also. We checked...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
