We stayed over 3 nights in Appia Residences - although very close to the city center - in fact walking distance to the Charles bridge - yet in the very quiet area. The facilities itself very comfortable. The appartment we got was very large with two bathrooms and balcony. Everything clean. Breakfast food also very good.

We stayed 1 night at Appia. After searching for the place in the small streets in one of the most beautiful parts of Prague and after checking into our apartment, we were truly sorry that we had only time for a 1-night stay. What an amazing place! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist providing us with...

Stayed here for a night with family. The proximity to major attractions and food places is a huge plus. Just a 10min walk to the castle, and 15min walk to Charles Bridge. Lots of food places nearby. And yet this is a quiet and peaceful hotel in its own little enclave. If you are driving to Prague with family, I...

Dear guest, thank you for your visit and for a nice review. Thank you for helpful notes as well. It is helpful tip, not to be surprised by the police control next to US embassy because they are checking really each car (just the quick control of the car, luggage space and the engine, not the documents). We are glad...

The hotel was a quick walk to Charles Bridge and right in a quiet area below the castle near the embassies. The room was clean with beds made, robes/slippers and the full breakfast was great. Very pleased!

Have just returned from a weekend in Prague, and I would absolutely recommend others to stay at this hotel. Frendly staff and good breakfast. Nice rooms, very clean and silent. Exept from a bit funny smell in the bathrooms it was nearly perfect.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
