This place fortunately was right next to our hotel! The beer according to my boyfriend was great. The food didn't disappoint - particularly the sausages & schnitzel. Luckily for us they serve food albeit a limited menu until midnight so perfect for a late late dinner. If they're super busy like weekend evenings the staff were a little testy but...

If you are in Rome do what the Romans do, as the saying goes. In Prague do what the Czechs do. Booking at central old Prague was the best! You live where Czechs are, lokal has no elevators but awesome living...in the olden days no elevators. It's worth mentioning that KATKA the receptionist volunteered to carry my wife's suitcase weighing...

This hotel is a real gem. We booked a deluxe suit which was enormous and very clean and very well stocked, it had everything. Check in was a breeze, the room was even ready when we arrived at 11am which was fantastic. Reception staff were so helpful and arranged taxis too and from the airport for us and also booked...

Great Location with just a few steps to Charles Bridge, 10 minutes walk to Prague Castle and Old Town Square. Friendly and helpful staff. Last but not least there is a great pub right at the ground floor with great Czech beer.

The Lokal Inn was in a perfect and beautiful location. Easy to find. We found there to be a lot of noise in the room as the street seemed to have a lot of movement early morning and late nights. Although the room was lovely, comfy bed and great private bathroom. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and we opted to...

I'm not sure what the food is like but judging by how many local people where eating here I would guess it is pretty good, but I can comment on the beer and that is excellent! If you are looking for a her that the locals drink at, I recommend here.

The room was massive and had a cool decorative feel. The bar downstairs was full and a great place to grab a beer. Thankfully the room was soundproof enough that we didn't hear the party continue on after we called it a night.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
