The MO Prague is close to perfection. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they'll do their very best to facilitate your stay and make it unforgettable. Rooms are very comfortable and the associated services are top class (laundry, night service, etc). As for the restaurant, spices is excellent mixing different types of asian cuisine for a very reasonable price....

The hotel is great, We opted for the "room with a view" as we were only able to be in Prague two nights and we arrived late in the evening after a train ride from Vienna. Our room had an exceptional view of the castle which made it worth the long walk to said room! (The hotel used to be...

It has been now about 5 years that we have been staying (whole family with 3 kids) regularly at MOP, several times a year. Excellent and high quality services, perfect location, very friendly and professional team, very personalised approach, it simply has become integral and important...

We stayed 3 nights in the Mandarin in Prague and really enjoyed it. The location is great : in the midst of the old Town (Male Strana : Castle side of the river). Walking distance to all sightseeing attractions. The hotel is in an old monestary and it combines very nicely the old style with the modern comfort. Our room...

Lovely small hotel, excellent helpful staff, terrific food, large well-appointed rooms with subtle decor. We spent 3 nights to celebrate New Year and could not have wished for better. The New a Year Ball was exceptional, terrific ambiance in the ex-monastery ballroom all wearing evening dress and everyone so very friendly. A total United Nations of fun! The food stations...

Location is excellent. Quiet area in Mala Strana, yet very close to everything. Understated facilities and very comfortable room. Service was excellent - extremely friendly staff, very polite and attentive to your needs/questions/requests.

Starting from quick respond to emails. Welcoming airport pickup service, to checking in with a lovely lady that she took us through the beautiful historic building on the way to our room. The staff were all top which reminded me why I love Manderine so much.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
