Stayed here 5 nights. The room was rightly furnished as you expect by the Mandarin. Wonderful linens and bed, slept like an angel. As a tourist, I asked a lot of the concierge and he didn't let me down. He (Tomas) gave me plenty of guidance, based upon my interests, on what to see and do in Prague and the Czech Republic. Excellent restaurant recommendations too. I think this is the best neighborhood in Prague, great access to the sites and public transportation.…
The room is worth the price: spacious, well-appointed, lots of natural light, quiet (despite being on the outside next to a small square) and with very nice interior decoration. The bed is wonderful, one of the few I've encountered that are not too soft. Bedding is very comfortable. The bathroom is large, lots of amenities and an enormous bath set in stone. The drain of the bath is in the middle, including the knob to open/close it, so you can relax in the bath without having it poking in your back. Towels were super soft. The room service was quick, the food (also at the restaurant) was not very copious but good, very well executed, original way to present classic dishes and the presentation was pretty. Every night there was turndown service, which adds to the feeling that details are cared about. The cocktails at the bar were original and very good. They made a special request and didn't overcharge for it at all. Staff is very friendly. The only thing that seemed a bit strange in a hotel chain like this is that they didn't really behave in a 'classic' way. Can't explain it better. It is not what I remember from 20-25 years ago. They're all very nice though. We never had any experience with Mandarin Oriental before and we probably don't behave like our parents either.…
We LOVED this hotel. Great location on the Palace side on the bridge. Quiet and relaxing once you're within the hotel grounds. Excellent service- helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Rooms are lovely, contemporary styling, comfy bedding and pillows. Air conditioning is excellent. Concierge team is extremely helpful and professional. Great restaurant recommendations. Restaurant at the hotel is the only downside to staying here. While the breakfast is outstanding, lots of choices, high quality options, etc., the Asian restaurant has a very limited menu and it's all Asian. Having a few regular salads and sandwich options would be nice. If you love luxury accommodations MO Prague is perfect!…
We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental and were upgraded to the suite which was a bonus to the stay! The hotel was beautiful converted from a monastery and the staff were exceptional. The service and attention to detail was extraordinary! Would stay here again!
This hotel is virtually perfect. The location Is ideal- close to the action yet and oasis of calm. Beautiful room with double sinks and lovely amenities. I noticed that anywhere I might step in the bathroom there was a bathmat in place. The breakfast is elegant, plentiful, and delicious. Having a room with a patio was an extra bonus. With all of that, the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly warm and welcoming and seem to genuinely care and enjoy their work. Tomas in the bar receives special recognition. I recommend this hotel without reservation and would definitely stay here again if I returned to Prague.…
