The location of the apartments is great - right in the heart of the tourist centre of Prague. They organised a shuttle (taxi) from the airport for us that was more expensive than it should have been. The check-in made us start to think that it could be a random/ eccentric. Many simple steps would become ordeals - like trying...

7 of us stayed in an 4 Bedroom apartment. It was wonderful. It was in the very historic Marks & Spencer building, and although the entrance to check in was in one door from the street, and the apartment lift in the next door, which was a little strange, once checked in, we had no problems at all. The Apartment...

I went to Prague for a hen weekend. We arrived at what we thought was Apart Hotel BV at around 8 o clock to discover that this hotel no longer existed and was told it had moved further up the road. We walked about 10 mins up the road to find what looked like a building site and a man...

we booked the BV apart on a hen party weekend to find when we got to the apartment to find that we had no apartment to stay in and that they that wanted to put us in apartment 15mins away. Which left us to find another hotel at 11.30pm. so if you are booked into the BV apart cancel now.

We have been staying at apart-hotel BV (which is the same as JEP Apart Hotel, if you google the address, you will see) for 7 days. When we arrived, they told us, our room is booked out, so they moved us to a 3 star hotel a few streets away, so far, so good. We should get our room the...

This was a great place to stay, I found it on a hostel Website so I didnt have too much hope for it to be honest. But once we got there is was very clean, very large rooms, we even had our very own private roof top terrace with some great views of the square. If I returned to Prague...

I stayed here in April 2007. The hotel/pension is right on Nove Mesto, which is a good location. It's a close walk to the Old Town (Stare Mesto) and the Astronomical Clock. It's a fun place to be, a bit noisy so if you like a more quiet place, you may want to find a pension in other off streets....

Excellent location above Marks and Spencer and on Wenchels square. At night, the seedier side of Prague is around the square (more like a street than square as we would call it). But for four girls in a group it was fine. When getting there, you want the Mustek metro stop - there are about 6 different exits. When the...

The ApartHotel-BV is located in the Mark&Spencer building on Wanceslas Square, so well located to reach any attraction in Prague. There is an entrance of the Mustek metro station in front of the building (from the airport I took bus 119 to Dejvicka metro station, then Mustek is 4 metro stops from there, total travel time 35 minutes and only...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
