Context: we arrived from Salzburg on train, first time in Prague and we only stayed for 2 days The hotel is conveniently close to main train station, if you like taking tours some companies start from there. The hotel is also one block away from Wenceslao Square, good to start any self-guided tour to town. Many options around for dining...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of March. From the outside, the hotel is not too impressive but once inside things change ! The hotel is well appointed with friendly and helpful staff throughout. The room was spotlessly clean, a good size, with a comfortable bed and a larger than usual bathroom. Although overlooking the...

Stayed in the hotel in January the room was nice but a bit worn down and very cold. There was AC but it was still cold when it was shut off. Simple and tasty breakfast. Very good location, close to everything!!! A bit unfriendly service, because we didn't bring our passport only our drivers license from Sweden.. though you can...

Loved this hotel. Rooms are small but have everything you need, including coffee/tea makings and spacious bathroom with towel warming rack. My room faced the street, couldn't hear traffic. This hotel is in walking distance to most everything. The only streetcar we used was to go up to the castle. Breakfasts are ample and lots of choices. I would have...

Room 305, corner room, nice and spacious. Roads are not too busy, so sleep was good. Buffet breakfast was tasty, and they didn't clear it away too early!I never used the spa. The bar is quiet, and pleasant, and prices are really good for a hotel. There is a big building site next door, but we never heard any building...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
