We only stayed here for 2 nights in November. The rooms are nice and large but they did not have the heating on when we arrived and we had to put it on ourselves. We went out the following day and when we got back it had been turned off and took ages to warm up. Breakfast was fairly good...

I've stayed here very recently and although there was nothing wrong with the place I wouldn't recommend it. We got a really cheap deal but it is not central and it was a lot of hassle getting to and from the centre. Our room was clean and the beds are comfortable but the decor is very outdated and makes the...

From our 10-countries-in-3-weeks EU trip, this is one of the hotels I liked best! Except for the location which is not walking distance from the city center or any tourist spot, I like almost everything about the hotel. There is a lift, thank goodness and the receptionist is very helpful. The room we got is very spacious and just for...

The Hotel Ostruvek is not the Ritz, you won't get room service, tea making facilities or a bathrobe but what it is is a really good budget hotel, not far from the centre of Prague, in a quiet residential area at a very affordable price. I personally would not say it is a bad location - a very inexpensive tram...

The location is good - very close to a metro stop to the town and JUST about within walking distance of the town too (not that you'd need to walk as the tram is great). The rooms are pretty good; the decor is a bit dated, but they are clean and a good size with nice ensuite and a safe...

Bad location, a bit far from the city centre. About 20 minutes by train. Acceptable room, comfortable, but with old carpet and very warm as the weather was hot. Good bathroom. Friendly staff. Average breakfast, not outstanding food. Adequate for the price.

Hotel room is average for a 2 night's stay. Everything is quite old in the room, room is very basic, only a small soap given and no kettle provided. We had a 'mini' tv, didn't bother to turn it on. Reception staff looks tired and so-so. Presented us with a list of do's and don'ts for staying in the room....

The tram system is very confusing when you are just thrown into it and the hotel staff were not all that helpful in assisting with this. Eventually, after a few wrong turns we found the city centre and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prague. We do wish we had looked at hotels closer to the city centre, as this was...

Very clean room, rather modern with a nice new looking bathroom and comfortable beds. It is extremely well connected via the number 18 or number 24 tram which are every 10 minutes from right outside and take you right to the city centre within 10 minutes. Wifi reached our room and the breakfasts are a nice little bonus, nice bread...
