This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is a very nice old refurbished building. The rooms are quite nice, with very nice bathrooms. The beds are comfortable, but....the best thing about this hotel is the staff. From the moment you arrive you feel like the most important person in the world.... More

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries around the world, but I have never experienced the level of service and friendliness offered by Residence Agnes. Led by the owner Frank, everyone at the hotel was 100% focused on making our stay as enjoyable as possible. A few examples. 1. My wife developed a sore throat and cold on... More

Our stay at Hotel Residence Agnes was wonderful!! We highly recommend!!! The staff - Victoria, Linda, Alex, Martin and all - were extremely kind, considerate, accommodating and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, our room was clean and spacious and the service was phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for more. A lovely experience!!

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in Europe. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble (eg driving you to the airport or a restaurant, suggestions for dining options and shows and sightseeing). There is always a drink waiting for you and a welcome! The breakfast is also wonderful and... More

This is an excellent hotel, one that all other small, independent hotels should aspire to. It starts with the location - in the middle of the Jewish Quarter and just a five minute walk from the Old Town Square. Prague itself is very walkable but if you need a lift somewhere the hotel will provide it. They also pick you... More

This truly is a fantastic hotel. The staff are so warm and treat all guests like their own family. Nothing is too much for them and as soon as I had booked they got in touch asking if I wanted anything booked. The hotel itself is also very nice, with big rooms, big beds. The breakfasts are fine and the... More

The hotel is situated about a 5 minute walk to the old town square. The service was great. We we greeted with wine and beer upon our arrival. They sat us down and showed us all the important sites of the city on a map and explained the best times to visit. Then they provided a driver to take us... More

This is simply the best hotel in the world. From the moment my friend and I were picked up from the airport to when we were dropped off a few days later, we could not have asked for more. This is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff who do everything they can to make you feel welcome and to help you enjoy your stay in Prague. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
