If you’re looking for affordable place to stay, then you’re in the right place. It is located in a very strategic area in Prague, it is a walking-distance from the old town, and very close to Wenceslas Square. Location wise, it is very easy to find and very convenient to reach.

The bedroom was just okay, it is located on the second and third floor with other hostel on the upper level. It is pretty big with high ceiling which somehow make the room felt so cold. It is also very spacious, it didn’t make you feel cramp just like when you’re staying in dorm room. They provide you with bed sheet and a big box under the bed, common room and free access to kitchen. Just keep in mind to always pay attention on your belongings. During my stay there was a guest who took other guests’ stuff. So, use your safety box and use additional keys or padlock for your own safety.

Lastly, they have a Banana Free Tour. The tour took 2-3 hours which will provide you with a glimpse of Prague history. It was really pleasant and enjoyable. Overall, if you’re on budget and looking for good place with great location, this is definitely your place to stay.

The staff were crazy helpful, they are from every corner of the globe but all of them had expert knowledge of Prague for directions/restaurants and bars.
You do not need to take any public transport to get to any of the sights because the hostel is so centrally located. The longest walk was to Charles Bridge, 20mins.
The reception is 24hrs and there is a wall of FREE electronic safes that we had throughout our 3day stay to keep our passports and money.
There is a "free" walking tour that lasted 2.5hrs and showed you all the main buildings of Prague and their history. This was brilliant for us because it meant we didn't waste time making up a random route ourselves. Although the tour is "free" please note the guides are independent and rely on the tips as their wage. Suggested amount is 200Kč, especially if you are going to ask for recommendations for places to eat/drink/get high AF.
I would agree with previous reviews that the rooms are small, but the reason we booked here is because it was so cheap and so central, we didn't spend our time in the hostel. We just needed somewhere to sleep, shower and leave our stuff securely. There is a draw under the bed that you can secure with a padlock that you can either bring yourself or rent from reception.
Each bed comes with a small but powerful light, some beds had two plug sockets and some had one.
DO NOT LOSE YOUR KEYCARD
Because you need it to get in every door you open. So into the bathroom and then back to your bedroom for example.
The showers and toilets again were clean and tidy, obviously please wear flip flops in the shower because no one wants your toe bugs and you don't want to catch anyone else's. There is a soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower and also they sell small thumb sized bottles at reception for 10Kč/33p(ish). For 100Kč/5€/£3.50ish you can hire a big towel, the smaller ones are free. They are very accommodating with you swapping it out for a fresh one so you don't have to have it hanging damp in your dorm.
As an added bonus they also have a storage room behind reception to hold your bags if you arrive early/when you check out if you have a late flight, and a small shop selling a few beers, soft drinks and sweets/snacks.

in the heart of Prague and only a few meters away from the subway.
I swear the pillows and the mattress were made out of clouds.
Very clean and quite.
The only downside was that there wasn't enough space for our luggage, which made our everyday routine (showering, getting dressed, etc) a bit uncomfortable.

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback. We are glad you had heavenly sleep :), that you enjoyed our clean hostel and the location just above the metro lines. For next time, we can recommend our 4-bed dorms, 10-bed dorms or 12-bed dorms, which are very spacious. I hope you will come back to our hostel again. Kind regards, Tereza Křepelková, PR Manager

A number of things culminated in the worst experience I've ever had in a hostel. I got a basic double room with my boyfriend (highest rate) and my friend and her brother were in a 12-bed dorm (lowest rate). The double room was the only room without access to Wi-Fi and A/C. I went down to reception to tell them this and the staff weren't aware of this. Hostel is so new that the staff haven't been into most of the rooms. You are NOT ALLOWED open windows (there is a fine if caught doing so). When we arrived the room was stifingly warm. There wasn't even a bin in our room.
What was also unsatisfactory was that we didn't have access to the common rooms, kitchen or laundry rooms. I needed to do laundry so had to wait until another guest opened the door for me to get in. Me and my friend who was staying in a dorm needed washing powder, but they only had enough for one of us to buy. The dryer also wasn't working properly and so we had to dry our clothes on the heated towel racks in the shared bathroom of our room.
Feeling very dissatisfied when I was paying €60 a night in the double room and my friend €20 in the dorm, yet she had access to a plethora of basic services that we didn't, I told reception that I was unhappy with my room and lack of access to facilities and that I would like a refund. They said their manager was supposed to be there in 30 mins time, but they didn't expect him to be on time because it was raining and 'he is too lazy'. When he arrived 30 mins late I told him my grievances and he offered me discount of 200 crowns (€7.50) I said that I was unsatisfied with that amount and he said I'd have to talk to the reservation manager.
I was put through to the reservation manager (Tereza) eventually on the phone and told her again my grievances. She was very condescending in response to my issues. (*sarcastic* 'Oh so you didn't have wifi?', 'you want A/C? But it was raining yesterday, why would you need A/C?') Eventually she told me angrily that all the issues I was having was due to the reception staff (it wasn't, they were lovely and helped as best they could, issues were with services and basic facilities of hostel AND serious over charge of room rate) and that because I wanted a discount so badly she would take all the wages of the reception staff and give it to me. This I told her was horrific and disgusting and I actually broke down in tears on the phone because I work in the customer service industry and couldn't believe how this manager was treating her staff. I gave the phone back to reception, apologised that they had to work for someone so heartless and that I wouldn't be taking any money from their wages. I was upset for the entire rest of the evening. Tereza said she would email me a 'solution' today, I have already checked out and received my 200 crown 'reduction' and I'm afraid that this experience has entirely marred my experience of a beautiful Prague. Please do not stay here.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Where do I start. Rooms are absolutely boiling hot and windows aren't allowed to be opened. No air conditioning. Says self catering facilities. Lies it's a pathetic excuse of a kitchen has a toaster and a kettle. No atmosphere about the place at all. All staff members are very rude and seem like you're a nuisance. Also it states laundry facilities which I needed. I walked into the laundry room and the machines were in use so I asked reception and they lied and said it was broke. Would rate 0 if I could. Only positive is free walking tour led by an excellent guide called Jan. Anyone considering booking here. Don't

Let me start by saying that the two starts come from it being in a clean condition and relatively new. I also get that "new" might be the only characteristic that some people care about, it's also the only "character" that Ananas has.

Our check in went fine, there was a misunderstanding with the payment method on Booking.com but it was quickly resolved.

When we arrived in our room, the first thing we noticed was the size, not a big deal, but also not enough room for two people to fit between the bunks. The second thing we noticed was the lack of lockers. They advertise lockers are included but it seems that quite a few rooms are devoid of this amenity. (We later confirmed that, indeed, we were supposed to have lockers but a long list of rooms do not. Never found out why.) Later, after returning for the evening, we discovered (much to our regret) the air conditioning is also missing... or just doesn't work, they couldn't answer that either. You also can't open the windows to solve the problem of stagnant air because they are bolted shut (you can't escape in a fire either).

After heading to the bathroom we discovered that you won't be getting much privacy in there. The showers are all see though and there is no where to put clothes or other items you don't want wet. Actually, the bathrooms seen more like a complete afterthought, or perhaps just designed by someone who never used a shower before.

The final thing you'll notice is how loud the place is, the doors offer little in the way of sound damping and the hard floors in the halls only make it worse.

Extrapolating on the noise, we were awaken at 8am to the extremely loud racket of metal grating on metal and constant banging. A quick investigation revealed hotel staff/workers building a set of metal shelves right in the hall outside the rooms, AT 8AM!!!!! Who does that?

Well, I can answer that question. The next morning a group of staff were in the hall playing music and socializing at 9am, again loud enough to wake people. Luckily for us, we were leaving and already awake.

All in all, it's a nice looking place with some serious flaws (design, management and staff). I'm having a difficult time giving it two stars, but it was in good condition (with good bunks, 2 plugs for everyone, a reading lamp and a decent mattress) even if the staff were some of the most inconsiderate I've ever encountered.

We definitely won't be staying here again in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Travelled here with friends. Checked in by a very nice receptionist who gave us some nice advise for breakfast and other stuff around the city. Had a good night sleep and the next morning when we were walking out of the hostel, we were kicked out! At that point the excuse were because of no hot water. We were naturally not happy about this, but accepted as we found another hostel nearby fairly easy. So we checked out and expected a refund - but they could not give us that! Not in cash or back to our credit card. Not happy about the idea we went out to enjoy the day and returned a few hours later to get our baggage. Again we tried to get our money, but still no way they could give us our refund. This is now over a week ago and no word from them and even worse still no refund.
Wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone!

After the first of our three nights we were asked to check out due to some problems with the water, allegedly. They refused to refund us for the two other nights we already paid for right away, but instead insisted we send an email so they could do the refunds later. They haven't done so and further have not answered to any of our emails. Appears to be a well-planned scam. STAY AWAY!

On the 15. of july me and my friends had an incident in this hostel, the hostel security guard punched two of my friends because we were to loud instead of just talking to us. They were both injured. The incident happened around 22:00 and is on tape. This behaviour is not acceptable. The security guard should be fired.

We arrived pretty exhausted and were received at the reception by suspicious and strict receptionists. The deposit that has to be left at the reception is unfair.
Unfortunately, the pictures of the hostel did not match our sleeping "cell" of 4 bunk beds. There was no space for anything else than the beds and a trash bin in our room. You could not open the windows to let in a fresh breeze. It seemed like the management expects the worst of people, judging by the suspicousness and penalty warnings literally on every wall.
It was however very clean and conveniently located, with spacious bathrooms and small self-help kitchen on every floor.
