Hotel ratings below, would definitely stay there again. This was our first visit to the city and was not at all what I expected, a lot of money has been spent on hotels etc, and it’s a great city break. Will go in the summer next time

Four of us stayed over the New Year and we were very pleased with our choice. As noted by most reviewers, the location is simply superb, just use the back door and you are in the heart of the city. The hotel is extremely clean, we found all the staff very helpful and it is great value for money. One of our rooms overlooked the street, the other overlooked the courtyard, but both were quiet. One room layout was unusual, but perfectly functionable, and the bathrooms were superb. We all enjoyed the large choice at breakfast, although very busy over New Year as expected everything was very fresh and constantly being replenished. Gdansk is beautiful and very historical, highly recommend the war museum, ship workers museum and a visit to Sopot on the train for a walk along the beach! Also nothing, including the many lovely restaurants, is too expensive which adds to the enjoyment- we would happily return and stay at this hotel again. Thanks for a good New Year.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights from 25th to 29th of February and couldn’t believe that this is only a three star hotel! To us it was four stars all round, the rooms, the service/staff and the delicious breakfast were all fantastic. The location couldn’t be better right in the heart of the old town and within easy walking distance of local attractions. The price we paid was excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend this hotel and if we were to return to Gdansk would stay here again. Thank to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

The Hampton is situated in a fantastic location in old town Gdansk - a two minute walk to the Royal Way and step outside the side door and you are facing the entrance to St Mary's Basilica. Arrival from the airport is simple - take the 210 bus direct to Brama Wyzynna for only 3.20zl, then a short walk through the Golden Gate, down Dluga and left on Lektykarska. There are plenty restaurants and bars within easy walking distance as are all the sights of the old town, including the World War 2 Museum and the Solidarity Museum and Shipyards. The main train station is also walkable if you fancy a trip to Sopot or Gdynia. The hotel is built on the site of the old cinema and it has tastefully remembered its past history in its present decoration. The staff are all very polite, personable and helpful. Our room was super clean and comfortable - oversized twin beds, walk in shower, underfloor heating in the bathroom, complimentary bottles of water, and in room coffee. We just loved coming back to the comfort of this hotel after our days sightseeing. The complimentary breakfast was superb with both hot and cold options, some of which changed daily. All in all, look no further if you want to stay in Gdansk. This is another superb Hampton experience, which we highly recommend.

Modern stylish hotel in centra area just minutes walk away from the old town and riverside and the many bars and restaraunts and shops. The hotel was very clean and well looked after and all the staff were friendly and very helpful at all times.I arrived late but was still in time for dinner, and even though the menu is quite limited the food (Pulled Pork Burger) was vey nice. The Breakfast buffet the following morning was well stocked with a great range of hot and cold foods.
The room was very spacious with a largeand very comforable bed in a well appointed room in a modern style. The cleanliness and comfort and quietness was excellent. The Ukranian lady who cleaned my room on the second day was meticulous in her job, very highly dedicated I think! The hotel is situated in a maze of small narrow streets (as its in the old town) but my satnav found it without too much trouble. The only thing thought I would have trouble with was the hotel car parking which is underground and accessed by a `car lift`. When yoyu arrve the hotel staf will come out and open the lift up for you before you check in, then after check in you can access everything yourself, it was quite easy in fact. I would definitely stay here again for the comfort of the hotel and the location. .

This hotel really is surpricingly good for a 3 star hotel. I have absolutely nothing to complain about or wishing somethings was better. Check in was quick even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Our room was big, bigger than many of the standard rooms actually. The bed was queen size but comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style but lots to choose from and every morning there were couple of warm dishes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and vegetables. Usually the dining room was not to busy so seating was not difficult to find. Location is super, supermarket just next door and plenty of restaurants just out on the street.

We have stayed here previously, so knew the hotel and what it had to offer. The location is the hotel biggest selling point as you step out of the hotel into the centre of town. It’s a hard location to beat in my opinion.

Due to status, we had been upgraded to a slightly larger room, but sadly not on the top floor. This meant that the following morning I was disturbed a few times by what sounded like a chair being dragged across the floor above our room on at least two occasions. We also were able to hear quite clearly the recycling being collected. It was too much noise for me, but it wasn’t very early, so it would not be a problem for early risers.

The rooms are the standard HbH old style, which I like very much and everything in our room was in order. The staff are all very friendly and you have the (almost) standard HbH breakfast included in the price of your stay. There were a few local variations in the food here, so no regular hash browns, but still plenty of choice to set you up well for the day.

For the location and the cost of the hotel, especially as breakfast is included, it is not surprising that this hotel often fills up. The staff are also lovely and very helpful.

We would stay again, although I would ask for a room on the top floor next time.

Stayed 6th - 9th March and couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived and seen the location of the hotel. It’s right smack bang in the middle of the old town and you couldn’t choose a better located accommodation!

The hotel itself is immaculate, very modern and very aesthetically pleasing. Cannot understand why it’s only 3 stars as it’s definitely far more luxurious than a lot of 3 star hotels we’ve stayed in across other areas in Europe!

We booked one of the rooms with the balconies looking over the roof tops which is absolutely gorgeous - only setback (and this is absolutely not the hotels fault!) is that there’s a cathedral that chimes it’s bells every hour on the hour so if you do book and you value your sleep, ask for a room on the other side. We got engaged when we arrived on Friday and this room was absolutely perfect for that special occasion 💍

We didn’t have to leave for the airport until 1.30 today and Cezamy at reception gave us a late checkout of 1pm with absolutely no hassle whatsoever - lovely guy and very helpful!

I probably would recommend booking room only and not bed and breakfast as there are so many delicious local eateries right on the doorstep for pennies! Also, the breakfast in the hotel wasn’t really our taste so preferred to venture out and try different things!

Thanks for a fabulous weekend

As a Hilton Diamond I have stayed in many Hampton Inn's (as well as other Hilton's) and honestly I usually avoid them. With that said, the location of this hotel, the reviews and even the cost made it very attractive.

On arrival which was MANY hours before check in. I had yet to mention my name or anything, I just asked if it was possible to check in early (even if in a few hours) and was accommodated without any issue. Ironically the person never even realized I was Diamond, never gave me snacks and all that stuff but I didn't care since I had a room MANY hours before the norm after an 8hr night train; I did receive the 'Diamond' stuff later and the person at reception apologized for not realizing it earlier or recognizing my status.

Although I'd have preferred facing the front, it was a courtyard, very quiet, big room with a separate little desk area, large bed and little couch/chair. The room was very clean, the general service was great at the desk as well as in the restaurant. I am not much of a breakfast person (coffee YES!!) but the breakfast was plentiful with everything from meats, cheese, fish, hot buffet, waffles, cereal etc etc. One of the days I ate a little something and the food was fresh, hot and good.

Location wise this hotel can't be beat, you are a 5 min walk to/from the waterfront, 5 min walk to the golden gate and I walked to/from the central station in 10-15 mins. Walking out the front there is a small parking lot and out the back there is a good little whisky place and a street of restaurants.

100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying there again in the future.

I am SO impressed with this hotel. They’re taking all the Covid precautions. Our hotel room is SO clean! You’ll find hand sanitizers and even wet wipes everywhere. At the breakfast restaurant, you’ll see a staff sanitizing the table as soon as the guests leave. There’s also a staff cleaning the tables, chairs, mirrors and elevator banks in the lobby. I feel so safe here! The breakfast was amazing, fresh and well stocked. Kascia ( I hope I spelled her name right) checked us in and she was friendly, warm and super helpful. We requested a quiet room and that’s what we got. My husband started using Hilton more for his work and I am excited to explore the Hilton brands.
