This place is taking re-opening measures seriously. Immaculately clean, no/minimal touch operations, switch to full service in restaurant with every worker wearing masks 100 percent of the time and keeping distance from guests. Some nice touches like allowing restaurant meals/drinks to be taken up to room. And the room is absolutely spotless. Location is perfect, across a small bridge from old town (5 min walk) and 15 minute walk to train station or five minute tram ride. Next to tram stop which goes all the way to beach and other way to train station. Nice restaurant food offerings including vegeterian and vegan.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Overall impression is ok. In principle nothing special but you get for what you pay for.
Plus: exceptional location for the city centre, excellent breakfsst.
Minus: rooms needs refurbishment, rooms are told to be non-smoking but still you smell that they were not!
Advice for the hotel: remove and renew carpets and remove wall paper and then fresh painting of walls.
Bathrooms are up to d as te.

Perfect stay from the first moment I walked in. The agreeable reception warmly welcomed me and explained everything about the hotel. Even I arrived late I was able to refresh and relax in the sauna. The hotel also offers 24 hours small gym. The location of the hotel is perfect, juts next to the river and just about 5 minutes’ walk to the city (to Neptune Fountain). Room clean, bed comfy without any noise from the busy traffic. Water and coffee/tea facilities nice touch. WIFI strong however the access is little be weird. Breakfast with extensive selection of the cod and hot item, including fresh waffles or juice.

I was staying there one night only but hotel is very nice.
Place : easy to find, close to many sights and historical center.
Room: standard room, cosy bed, tea, coffee available, I had room with bath.
Clean room, comfortable bed.
Breakfast : excellent, I think even the most picky one will find what to eat. Because breakfast was really good and when something is missing, personal brings immediately extra.
Service: even excellent hotel impressions can be spoiled by gloomy unfriendly personal. But in hotel Qubus I was lucky to have very hospitable stuff, they really care and answer all questions.
The only downside internet connection.
Why not to make it simple login, password? Registration procedure with room number, email, link is very annoying. Especially when after all this connection was still very weak. Maybe its because I was far away in my room 227 or because of any other reason. I think it's long system of wifi obtaining is not needed.

Dear Guest, First of all thank you for your stay and for sharing your opinion. We are more than happy that our hotel met with your expectations and we are glad to hear that you liked the work and attitude of our Staff that do their best to provide as good service as possible. I would like to inform you that we provide our guest with 3 options to connect into our wireless internet. Our hotel guests would prefer to log in by using only their room number and day of check-out. Option to connect by providing email address is with slower internet speed and is directed to those, who do not have room reserved in our hotel. Third option is to log in with conference code. At Qubus Hotel Gdansk we always value all the feedback we receive from our Guest. We endeavor that 100% of our guest leave our hotel happy, that is why your opinion is so valuable to us. We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to the area. With kind regards, Rafal Willich General Manager

Really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights visiting Gdansk.
We arrived late morning and dropped off our luggage as there was a charge for early check-in. A little disappointing as our room was already available.
That said, the disappointment ended there. Our room was large, modern, well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. Complimentary toiletries were limited, but we always take our own so not an issue.
As mentioned elsewhere, the hairdryer is one of those fixed, bathroom ones which, my wife told me, was practically useless.
The bedroom window is quite high but, unusually, fully opening. Great for fresh air but one to bear in mind if you have a small child who likes climbing!
An absolute clincher for me, being a very light sleeper, is noise. We both agreed that, without doubt, it was the quietest hotel at night we have ever stayed in. Excellent sound proofing meant we heard absolutely nothing from adjacent rooms or the hallway.
The bed was comfortable but pillows on the flat side.
Other reviews have told of a slightly chaotic, busy breakfast experience. Our first morning, the breakfast restaurant was very busy but there were tables available. The way the buffet is set out does make it quite congested and narrow around the food, which is fine if you have just a small amount of patience, something some of our German friends seem to lack; there was a lot of huffing and puffing and muttering if you didn't clear the way to the food for them like Moses parting the Sea of Galilee!! Amusing to see their annoyance rather than an issue.
Enjoyed the hotel boat trip, which there is now a nominal fee for, rather than free.
The hotel is perfectly situated to stroll into the beautiful main town, albeit across a busy road with a pedestrian crossing.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we come back to this wonderful town for the Christmas market

We booked the Hotel for three nights when we visited Gdansk for the Christmas market. It is in a great location and provided good value. The staff are all very good and I would stay again or recommend. The room was big, clean with a good size bathroom. The shower was hot and powerful and the sauna was great. There is a gym but I didn't use this. The introduction of usb charging sockets would be benefifical, particularly to UK travellors.

The air con provided warmth but was not noisey. The hotel is modern and nicely furnished and decorated and clean. The location is excellent; walking distance from the main train station which can be used to travel from the airport or Sopot and walking distance to the old town of Gdansk. There is a tram stop nearby.

We only used the restaurant to eat for breakfast. The food was a high quality and there was a plentiful selection catering for everyone including plenty of dairy free options. The restaurant was large, clean and spacious. There was never a shortage or wait for anything and the staff cleaned the tables promptly.

A big thanks to Maciej Francuz and reception who were friendly and particularly helpful in making sure our visit was a memorable one.

Visited this hotel in November i emailed in advanced to say it was my mother in laws birthday and arranged for balloons, bubbly and a message to be wrote on the mirror. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
The hotel offers a free boat trip we managed to get a ride before it closed for the season.
Breakfast was also brilliant with a huge selection.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The Qubus hotel is wonderful for families. The family room is spacious and comfortable. Overall the hotel is so clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The highlight every morning was the AMAZING breakfast!!! The children loved to make their own delicious waffles daily. Just fantastic food. We dined 2 evenings at the hotel and it was lovely too with a great kids menu.

We were within walking distance of the beautiful old town. Our experience was fantastic as it snowed while we were there and the city turned into a Winter Wonderland for our entire stay!

The taxi organised our taxi transfers the airport for us which made everything so easy.

Gdansk is expensive for tea/coffees/hot chocolates/alcoholic drinks etc. Eating out meals are priced as good value but any drinks, cakes and deserts are expensive. The public transport is excellent and reasonably priced. The clothes shops etc are the same price as Ireland for us.

Lovely hotel centrally located and great value for money. Breakfast selection was fresh and lots of choice. Carpets need cleaning in rooms and on corridors, that was a bit offputting but bathrooms were spotless. Bar rarely open? No idea why? And the whole place is definitely not mobility friendly. Steps all the way, no ramps. Gdansk itself isn’t user friendly either tho. with steps everywhere into all shops and café’s. Didn’t hinder our stay and would be happy to stay again

Very good hotel in great location, being just a few minutes walk from the old town.

On arrival, Daniel at reception was friendly and very helpful.

Rooms are fine, I would advise taking your own hairdryer as the one supplier in bathroom is literally useless. Also would have been helpful to have shampoo/conditioner in bathroom as only soap available.

Breakfast absolutely superb and plentiful, with a wide variety of options, hot and cold. We had a hearty breakfast and found we didn’t need to eat again until dinner.

5 minute walk. There's an underpass 1 min from the hotel that goes under the main road. Then you cross over a side road and turn left to cross over the bridge. Voila you are in old Town. It's just the other side of the river. Or you can take the hotel's free boat ride up and down the river, we found it helped us get our bearings and they ask if you want to go back to the hotel or be set down in Old town. You can't get lost you can't miss the hotel on the river.
