I stayed here during a recent business trip to Gdansk and although initially concerned it was not located in the city centre I actually ended up loving my time here. Absolutely the most freindly staff I have encountered in a hotel for a very long...More
I stayed in this hotel few times and as always I liked it very much! The hotel itself is not new so you won't be impressed by luxury or finest design however it has all what you need and to enjoy the stay: cosy, very...More

Nice breakfast with a variety of choice. Good location, not a far walk from Sopot main square. Plenty parking although there is extra charge for this. Good wifi and a room was overlooking Baltic sea. Service at the reception could improve and be more customer...More
We were staying for a conference at NGM and mostly the impressions were positive. The rooms are not large but comfortable enough, maybe tired a little bit in places (the carpet). Sheets and towels are OK, on the cheap side. Beds are quite comfortable and...More

We rented a car for something like 70 Euros for 3-4 days, it was extremely cheap, and we wanted to visit Gydinia and some other areas outside of town as well. If you plan to go into Gdansk, parking is virtually impossible, so tram is a good idea into town. I suppose it depends on how many people you are and how much luggage you have, to get from the airport to the Novotel, but, yes, the hotel is located outside of town and you will need some form of transport from there to tourist spots.
If you want to go eat in places like Sopot or anywhere else in the area, you will need transport from the hotel, it is located a bit in the middle of nowhere (but nicely by the beach).
Tip, if you do rent a car, just park on the street outside of the hotel. We thought the hotel outdoor parking was cheap (think we misunderstood the price) and it wasn't, and wasn't worth it.
