My friend and I have just spent five nights at this hotel. We had a lovely big twin room, plenty of space, full sized fridge,TV,fan etc.The staff are very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had a good choice of cheeses, meats, cereals, eggs etc. A real treat was the free coffee and cake served between 4-8 pm. The location is very central, the main... More

Very nice, with kind people. Very good breakfast and "tea time treats". This is more of the condo/apartment like rentals then your typical hotel rooms. You are in the middle of the Old Town, close to all attractions. Price is also fair.

Loved staying at Dom Aktora! Was here for 3 nights during my 2 weeks trip to Poland last month and I absolutely loved Gdansk. The hotel had a very homey feel, it's tucked away on a quiet street but close enough to the main sights on foot. We had a 2 bedroom apt on the top (4th) floor - apt... More

Basically this used to be apartment house, and now it's called a hotel. We got a two bedroom apartment which looked exactly like most Polish flats in mid-1980's. Same uneven parquet, same old-school phone probably remembering Graham Bell's era; just like visiting my auntie in my much younger years. The whole building would do with major refurbishment. No lift, which... More

Located in quiet street only yards from riverside, but close enough to other sights in the Old Town. Large apartment (room 4) on second floor, with large bedroom/sitting room with small balcony, small kitchen area with kettle, hob, sink and plenty utensils, toilet/shower room and entrance area. Absolutely zero noise at night. Not the most up to date decor, but... More

Dom Aktora is well situated in an older house in the old Town of Gdansk. Our room was quite large with very good beds and a nice bath-room. The rest of the furnishing was basic , but very practical. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and a nice detail was the daily offering of free coffee and cookies.we enjoyed... More

The place is ideally located in the heart of Gdansk, away from noise but close to everything. The staff is helpful and kind...and the breakfast is fantastic! We had a spacious apartment with all modern conveniences. We loved our one-week stay there.

4 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at this hotel. The apartment was quite basic but we enjoyed the views from the living room out onto the old town. We also enjoyed the kitchen with cooker, fridge and facilities to cook - however it was only the fridge we ever used! Breakfast is excellent with a good choice... More

Just returned from a very enjoyable 4 night stay at the Dom Aktora. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the main train station and literally a minute from the river. We were checked in early by the friendly receptionist and even offered a choice of rooms. Our apartment (no.6) was really quite spacious with separate kitchen and entrance... More
