Really didn't know what to expect from our visit, but we always manage to make the best of any situation!
However, it has to be said that the Puro exceeded our expectations in every possible way!
Prompt and effective check in allowed us to get into our room earlier than anticipated, experiencing such friendly reception.
The room was well appointed and it was really cool that all facilities were operated from one tablet! 👌
We had a romantic dinner, to the sultry sounds of a sax, which was both tasty and reasonably priced. The service was exceptional and the ambience was exquisite in the Dancing Anchor restaurant!
Post dinner cocktails was a pleasure also, in INK ABOVE, serving some really well mixed booze with a view to die for!
The hotel was impeccably situated in the heart of Gdansk for every possible taste and catered for our every need.
The check out was efficient and the final icing on the cake was a very reasonably price deal on a comfortable airport transfer.
Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and they certainly deserve their highly regarded status on here!
Well done to all the team. Superb!

We stayed here 2 years ago over new year and took our parents this time, for 4 nights. We all had a great time, the rooms are compact but functional, with everyone only having the same one complaint of beds being too hot and pillows too soft (we all had to turn the aircon to a low temp to battle the hot beds but then any exposed skin was as cold as ice). The HDMI cable in the back of our tv was also snapped so my firestick didn’t work in the port on the side of the tv unit, didn’t bother reporting it as I just watched my iPad instead. Staff are all very professional and nothing is too much trouble. Perfect location for exploring Gdansk. Room was cleaned every day to a very high standard, the entire hotel is spotless - 10/10 to the cleaning staff! Will return when back visiting Gdansk in the future

We had a great stay at this hotel. I think the heading sums it up.

I think the hotel and room decor was modern as well as welcoming. Welcoming and service minded can also be used to describe the staff, both in the lobby and in the bars. We did not have too much interaction with the restaurant staff so we can't speak to their attitude, but it was clear to us from the way they were rushing around and refilling serving trays at breakfast, that they were attentive as well.

We spent most of our nights dining and having drinks outside of the hotel. But we did try the sky bar one of the nights. Here we can only recommend that you reserve in advance, because this place was not big, and seemed very popular. We ended up having a few coctails in the hall outside the bar before we found a table inside.

All in all we can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gdansk.
If we were to mention one thing it was only the lack of international TV channels. There were some, but not enough. The pads in the rooms used to control all the smart features in the room, lights, temperature, "do not disturb" & "please clean" were a nice feature.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate Hogmanay. We have never stayed at a Puro hotel before but we loved it and will certainly be back. We paid for an upgraded room and glad we did as the view was spectacular, room bigger and very quiet. I would suggest paying a little more as otherwise if you go for a standard room, your window will be facing the inside of the reception/bar area and you won’t get to see beautiful Poland.
The staff are very attentive, polite and professional. Whoever provides the training deserves a merit as this was 5 star.
I visited the spa however there were no available appointments for a massage so I suggest you book prior to coming to the hotel. The sauna and steam room is nice, I didn’t spend long there as there was a mixed group of young Germans who were consuming alcohol in the spa and being abusive to the staff. I was not comfortable and left quickly, I felt management should have told them to leave.
We had breakfast once in the hotel which you can pay for one a day to day basis and it was really nice, lots of choice too.
The hotel is located very centrally in Gdansk, lots of bars, restaurants, shops so you will never be bored.
Only thing I would like to see added into the room itself is a kettle, there is a coffee machine but us tea drinkers would love to make one in the room.
Free tea and coffee facilities in the main reception area, it would be nice to have a fridge with milk in as I had to keep asking at the bar.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, it’s immaculate, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. 5 stars.

This is a lovely, modern hotel which is ideally situated just on the edge of the old town. The closest station is Gdansk-Srodmiescie but it is a bit of a walk if you are arriving by public transport. Rooms are modern, well equipped and you get a fridge, safe and samsung tablet along with your TV which gives you complete control over lighting, room service and the tv too if you like. We found everything to be impeccably clean in the room as well. Most rooms overlook the inside of the building and very few have extras views over the city. The ventilation system ensures that if you open your window, you can still get fresh air which is quite useful as air conditioning is centrally disabled during the winter months in common with most baltic sea area hotels. The bathroom is separated from the main room by a glass screen- fine if you are a couple but if you want some bathroom privacy then maybe this isn't the hotel for you. Your room card is also your free pass to tea and coffee from the machine in the lobby throughout your stay which is a nice touch. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with nice views over the city and both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable although you are paying for the location and service and so are therefore higher than other places in the city. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate and whilst it may seem quite expensive, if you like getting out early to explore, there aren't actually that many local places close by offering an alternative so if you want to make the most of your day, its probably worth the extra expense. Overall this is good value, stylish place to base yourselves for a stay in Gdansk.

We stayed for five nights in February and cannot fault the hotel. Located on granary island in the centre of town. It is only a 10min walk into the main town where all the sights and restaurants are. It is next to the river, so right next to the newer bars and restaurants along the riverside.

The hotel is very modern and clean. We stayed in a double room on the 7th floor overlooking the river. We had no problems with noise the whole trip. The room is controlled via a Samsung tablet which is very cool, but had the occasional glitch, but overall fine. I believe all the rooms have showers with glass into the main bedroom. There is a curtain you can pull across should you not want to see your friend etc in the bathroom!!

A nice touch was the free hot drinks in reception 24/7, with take out cups and normal cups - great after a day sight seeing in the cold!!

Breakfast was simply amazing - couldn't fault it!!!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I loved this central hotel! It is quirky, sophisticated and truly reasonable. The rooms are modern with a great large bathroom which overlooks the bedroom. It has curtains which you used to hide yourself whilst you shower...unique concept!
The room is digitally managed via an Ipad....It .was really fun using the telephone to call reception and controlling the lights.

The hotel overlooks the Marina and is centrally located near to many of the attractions / sights.

Consider this hotel on your trip to Gdansk.

Prior to staying we tried to change our booking due to COVID (we were not comfortable travelling). The hotel were impossible to contact initially so we used our agent to do it, their policy was contrary to every other hotel we had bookings with during COVID and Puro insisted on not offering a refund. We therefore had to go or lose money. On arrival the staff provided no information about the hotel, amenities etc and simply checked us in. During the stay the lights in the room turned on automatically in the room at 2.45am waking us up - very poor. The sauna was open and we were told to call ahead to check it was free which we did, when we turned up 2 mins later it was full! Aside from the issues, the location of the hotel is good, pre assistance with taxi also good, local info via email before hand was poor. Room was nice although the privacy to the bathroom was very poor - only a curtain which didn't close properly was in the way. Blind was broken. Overall the initial service from the hotel around our booking dampened the stay so i would look elsewhere in future given there are several other good alternatives at a similar price. I found their attitude to COVID and social distancing to be non existent beyond some staff wearing masks. That maybe the policy in Poland but as a visitor, we expected something a bit more.

Dear Jamsimsafc, Thank you very much for your opinion and comments, first of all for the visit. I can assure you that we have offered and still offer the possibility of changing the date of arrival to all guests, each guest can book a refundable offer, in cases of force majeure we apply refunds. As far as information is concerned, we try to provide it reliably, changes in the regulations imposed by the government have been changed many times, if we have failed in proper communication, we apologize. The rules of operation during a pandemic are very much respected by us, first we conducted trainings, equipped the hotel with all the necessary resources, and then we opened the Hotel for our guests. All employees wear masks, take care of disinfection, and their health is checked every day. We can only influence guests to keep their distance by paying attention, and we do that. The restaurant complies with all the procedures imposed by the Hygienic Services that carry out emergency checks. Another change has taken place for several days and we require guests to wear masks in the common areas of the hotel. I share the above, so that other guests can be sure that our Hotel is trying to take care of the safety of guests and employees in the best possible way. I hope you will decide to visit us again, and I would love to meet you. I also apologize for the inconvenience related to technical defects, sometimes they happen, and the sooner we know about them, the faster we react, I assure you that good cooperation with guests is our priority. I invite you again, I encourage you to contact me. Best regards, Monika Murawska & PURO Gdańsk team

This is an amazing, perfect hotel, looking designer-like and terribly chick, the rooms are very good in size, everything is new and spotless, the matress is very high quality, the same with the pillows and sheets. I slept like a princess. The bathroom is very well equiped, super mirror with lights around, quality soap and shampoo, bathroab and sleepers.
The breakfast room is sooo nice, it looks expensive, I hate the cantern feel of most breakfast rooms. This is also THE FIRST good coffee I am having from this giant popular coffee machinesc. Scrambled eggs are delicious, so are the healthy versions of tapioca and mango and porridgr and fruit. Loved it!
All very modern at checkin and checkout

After Łódź and Poznań that was third PURO hotel I decided to stay in. I like this brand very much. The hotel is very good situated , close to all main atractions of the city, and public communication. From main station it's only 4 short tram stops ( about 5 minutes). Interiors and modern, individually designed but cosy. In this hotel there is a quite big number of rooms that don't have an acces to daily light, with windows to the atrium etc. it doesn't make the room claustrophopbic, and it's not big problem especially when ones pass their time over the hotel. But if it could be an obstacle for someone it is good to draw an attention to this feature. But nowadays those rooms can be quieter because of the building site on the next possession. Hotel gives an information about building site on it's website, and that's plus for hotel. Food is good and fresh, but ( at least for polish condidions) a little bit expensive ( especially 65 zł breakfest ), especially that around is a lot of places where one can eat tasty food from morning to the evening. Service is young but nice and competent. Within the stay is an acces to sauna. It's a small space
( just two rooms) but enough to relax). Other spa treatments are additonally payed. The hotel is clean and take care for the cleannness. All the photos and informations that are given on the website are ccording to the reality. Communication with the hotel before arrival was also fluent. I reccomend.
